FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’d love for all our guests to feel comfortable and confident — that’s what matters most! But if you’re asking us, we suggest semi-formal attire. Ladies: cocktail dresses—fun, classy, and comfortable for dancing. Gentlemen: dress pants with a nice shirt and tie combo are perfect—feel free to top it off with a sport coat if you’d like! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors if weather permits, so dress accordingly.

Question

Is everything all at the same place?

Answer

Yes! All wedding events — the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — will take place at The Grayson House. No need to travel between venues! All areas are handicap accessible, so everyone can easily join in the celebration.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

No, guests will need to arrange their own transportation and driver. Please note that no cars may be parked overnight at The Grayson House.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at The Grayson House by 4:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to park, find a seat, and get settled before the celebration begins. Trust us — you won’t want to be fashionably late for this big event! We can’t wait to see you there and start the celebration together!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The Grayson House has on-site parking available for guests. No cars may be parked overnight.

Question

What is on the menu?

Answer

It’s a surprise! But don’t worry — you can trust us, because we’re true foodies at heart. One of our favorite parts of planning this wedding was getting to choose a menu that we know our guests will love. So come with hungry bellies (but maybe not too hungry — we don’t want any growling during the ceremony lol). If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please be sure to include the guest name + restrictions with your RSVP so we can make sure there’s a delicious meal waiting for you, too!

Question

Are children allowed, or is this an adults-only wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only ceremony and reception. While we truly wish we could celebrate with all of your little ones, the only kiddos we're including are our nieces and nephew since they’re part of the wedding party.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony to help create an unplugged, intimate moment. We want everyone to be fully present and in the moment with us as we start this next adventure together. We’ve carefully chosen the best professional photographer and videographer to capture every perfect moment, and we can’t wait to share those beautiful memories with you! That said, once the ceremony is over, we’d love for you to snap all the candid photos you can during cocktail hour and the reception to share with us!
