Hike Silver Falls State Park
Silver Falls State Park is home to the Trail of Ten Falls, which as the name suggests, is a 7.2 mile trail that features ten gorgeous water falls. The falls range from 27 feet to 178 feet, and 4 of them you can even walk behind! All Trails rates this hike as moderate since there is no significant elevation gain, and there are chances to shorten the distance of the hike if needed. The trail is extremely well maintained and there are plenty of benches along the trail for resting and admiring the falls.

Willamette Valley, nestled between the Cascade Mountain Range to the east and the Costal Range to the west is home to over 700 wineries! The valley is most famous for its Pinot noirs, which require a cool climate to create its light-bodied, fruity, and floral taste, but there’s plenty more to drink (and eat!) than just award-winning Pinot noir. The valley also produces excellent Chardonnays, Rieslings, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc, Sparkling wines, and more to suit any palate. While there are many wineries to choose from, we recommend Willamette Valley Vineyards in Turner, OR for its proximity, excellent wine selection and scenic views. Reservations are recommended for indoor tableside service. Indoor and outdoor open seating with bar-side service is available without reservations.
