Each day, the resort hosts a variety of activities including sports, games, crafts, and work outs. Lean into this! It's so much more fun when you participate in the cheesy games and get to know the activities staff. Additionally, there is a small theatre show each night with a different theme (except the night of the wedding) and it's a fun thing to go to after dinner.
Included in your stay is the use of non-motorized water sports down on the beach! You can check out kayaks, paddle boards, and more. You can also rent motorized water sports for a fee.
This part is not included and will cost extra, but we highly recommend a visit to the spa on property if you have time! We like the relaxing 50 min massage and then hydrotherapy in their sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and infinity pool with a view is included afterwards.
While all of the food we have had on property is yummy, we especially love the BO (vegetarian but everything is amazing) & Grill restaurants. During the day, the crepes and ceviche between the two pools is to die for! The Grand Caribe buffet is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and does not require a reservation ahead of time. There is a huge variety of food offered here so you can try a little of everything! Since this is an all inclusive resort, the portions at the restaurant can be smaller, so get a group together and order pretty much everything on the menu to try.
There are several bars all over the property open at various times through the day, including swim up pool bars and a beach bar. Drinks are included and unlimited + they can make almost any cocktail without the liquor. If you want to try the fun drinks but don't want it too sweet, just ask for "poco azucar" or "less sugar" and they will make it not as sweet for you (game changer) We recommend the aperol spritz, the mango margarita, and asking the bartender to make you "mixed shots".
