Community Emergency Services (CES) is the food shelf our church supports. CES provides food for the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in Minneapolis, including delivery to homebound individuals and the largest Meals on Wheels program in the state for seniors. Especially given the strain of COVID-19, we want to support those in our local community facing food insecurity. We will also have the option to drop off nonperishables for the food shelf at a collection spot at the wedding venue.

The Dwelling Place is a Christian ministry for victims of domestic abuse. They provide transitional housing and supportive services for women and children. Their services help build skills for long-term goals including finances, jobs and housing. Laura had been supporting The Dwelling Place prior to us meeting and one of our groomsmen has been very involved there as well.
