For guests flying into Denver International Airport, renting a car is the easiest and most flexible way to reach Buena Vista. The airport offers 10+ major rental car companies, all accessible via a quick shuttle from the terminal, making pickup simple upon arrival. From there, plan for a scenic drive of about 3 hours into the mountains. The route is absolutely beautiful—winding through mountain passes and classic Colorado landscapes—so we recommend giving yourself a little extra time to enjoy the journey (and maybe snap a few photos along the way!).

We’ve reserved a room block for our guests at the Surf Chateau—a separate, more intimate property from the main Surf Hotel. Our ceremony will take place here, and it would mean the world to us to be surrounded by our loved ones throughout the weekend; so we kindly encourage the Chateau to be your first choice when booking. Encircling a peaceful river rock courtyard, the Chateau offers 20 guest rooms, including beachy ground-floor Cottage rooms and European-inspired Chateau rooms and suites with private balconies. For a more spacious, home-style stay, guests can also explore the South Main Residences—ideal for groups looking for extra room and a bit more privacy, all within easy walking distance of the venue and downtown Buena Vista.
