Shuttle

Shuttle From the Hotel to the Ceremony

March 25, 2023 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

We will provide a shuttle for all guests from the lobby of the DoubleTree Hotel to the ceremony at Saint Rita's. The shuttle will return guests back to the hotel lobby post the ceremony. Please be in the lobby by 1pm when the shuttles will depart. Note that the cocktail hour and reception at The Lucy is directly next to both hotel blocks, so no additional shuttles will be needed once you return from the ceremony.

Flight

Flying into Philly

Philadelphia International Airport is very accessible to and from downtown Philadelphia, about a 20 minute drive each way. Ubers/Lyfts/Cabs to the city are available at reasonable prices (taxis typically charge a flat rate or $28.50 plus tip). You can fly directly from Burlington, VT to Philly, or additionally directly from Plattsburgh, NY to Philly on Contour Airlines.

Parking - Options for Out of Town Travelers

Both hotels offer valet parking at a set daily rate, not included in the hotel room rate. Additionally, our venue and hotels are centrally located, and you may be able to find great deals at garages or lots nearby. If you want to shop around, we recommend Spot Hero (linked here), or ParkWhiz.

Travel Note

Parking - Day Of

For those driving in for the day, we are offering complementary valet parking on site at The Lucy beginning at 12:30pm. Valet is located across the street from The Lucy on Locust Street, right in front of Standing O sign at the DoubleTree. Guests can park and then take the wedding shuttle to and from the ceremony at St. Rita's. The shuttle will be departing in front of the The DoubleTree Hotel on the corner of Broad and Locust. Valet will be open until 12 midnight. For the few who would like to drive directly to the Church, St. Rita's has a small (free) parking lot located around the corner from the church at Federal and 15th Streets. See the link provided below for a map. Guests can then choose to valet their car at The Lucy for the reception.
