We would stick with the major firms - Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty. Note that you can also take a shuttle from LAX directly up to the Hyatt Santa Barbara for $20/pp

Shuttle to/from LAX & Santa Barbara

16 daily trips to and from Los Angeles International Airport on comfortable, restroom equipped buses. Dropoff is by the Hyatt Centric Santa Barbara, which is a block from the zoo. See website or call 805 964 7759.

Hyatt Centric Santa Barbara

You can book a room in our wedding block at the Hyatt Centric, a beachfront hotel located next to the zoo, for $344 Saturday and $244 Sunday through August 1st. (NOTE: Some guests have found more reasonable rooms through booking websites including hotels.com and Expedia, so definitely feel free to look online first and book if you see a better deal!)

Train

Train to/from LAX & Downtown Los Angeles to Santa Barbara

The FlyAway bus services goes between Los Angeles Airport and Union Station (where you can catch Amtrak to Santa Barbara, see Train). Operates every 30 minutes all day and night except between 1am and 5am when it operates every hour. Check the FlyAway website for latest info on fares (click link on left).
