Drive Up The Pacific Coast Highway

Take a drive up the famous Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1) from Santa Monica to Santa Barbara. It is slightly longer than going right up the 101, however this gorgeous drive is worth it. And if you want to get closer to the Pacific Ocean, check out one of Malibu's beautiful beaches, which include: Point Dume, El Matador, El Pescador, and Point Mugu.

Surf at the epic Rincon Point Break

This classic surf spot (referenced in The Beach Boys classic song, Surfin' Safari) is a world class right point break and takes, at its best, west and northwest swells. Rent a board or sign up for a lesson at Rincon. Or just stop by to hang on the beach and watch! *Pending good waves*

Enjoy Santa Barbara's famous wines

Take a day trip to lush vineyards or visit local tasting rooms in downtown Santa Barbara's aptly named "Funk Zone."
