JetBlue and American Airlines fly to and from the Nantucket airport through our wedding weekend, and you are able to fly onto the island via New York, DC, and Boston from most locations. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns; we'll be happy to help or try to point you in the right direction! To get from the Nantucket airport to your destination, you can call one of the many cab companies on island, or take an Uber if you prefer. It is no more than a 10-15 minute drive from any of the accommodations we have recommended.

If flying to Nantucket isn't an option, you can fly to Logan Airport in Boston and travel to Nantucket via bus and ferry. This requires a bit more legwork and travel time, but is totally doable and can be much more affordable. There are two options to get to Nantucket from Logan Airport. You can take the Plymouth and Brockton bus to Hyannis or hire a private car service, followed by one of the ferries. The link to Elite Car Service, which we have used and recommend, is below. Keep reading to learn more about your ferry options.

Another alternative airport option is T.F. Green, the Providence airport. Providence and Boston are the same travel time to Hyannis (about 1.5 hours), and you can often get cheaper flights in and out of this smaller airport! To get from Providence to Nantucket, you can also take the Plymouth and Brockton bus to Hyannis or hire a private car service, followed by one of the ferries. The link to the route schedule and ticket purchasing for the bus for both Providence and Boston is below, and you'll find specific ferry information in the ferries note!
Travel Note
Nantucket is located about 27 nautical miles off of the Cape, so there's no "easy" way to get there. If you're traveling from a closer locale, driving to the Cape and taking a ferry might make more sense. Nantucket has two ferry companies that depart from Hyannis; HyLine Cruises and the Steamship Authority. Both have "fast" ferry service, which take approximately 1 hour from Hyannis to Nantucket. The Steamship Authority also has a "slow" ferry which brings cars and other freight over and takes about 2.5 hours. We recommend the fast ferries for convenience and more time on the island! Both ferries also have large parking lots that you can leave a car in over the weekend.
Travel Note
Nantucket Town is very easily walkable, but if you want to go farther afield you have several options. The easiest way to get around Nantucket is via cab or Uber. The link below lists all of the Nantucket cab companies and their phone numbers. Uber operates on island and is also a great option. Another affordable option is the NRTA/Wave, Nantucket's very own public bus system. You can ride the Wave to many places on island, including the Cranberry Festival on Saturday! The fare is $2-3 a ride, or you can get a 3 day pass for $18. It's a small island, so nothing is more than 15-20 minutes away.

House Or Rental
For those of you with a larger crowd or looking for more flexibility, a house rental might be the best way to go! Since Nantucket has many seasonal residents, there are a plethora of short term rentals available. We recommend Airbnb or VRBO!

There are many hotel options close to town and to the White Elephant! Many are bed and breakfasts, each with their own unique personality. The following are just a few that we'd recommend and have checked their availability for the weekend.
