Question

Click on the RSVP tab on this website, type in your first and last name, and you're in!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP on the website by Sunday, September 12!

Question

What's the best way to get to Nantucket?

Answer

Nantucket is accessible by plane or ferry. Your travel will be dependent on where you're traveling from, how much time you have to travel, and your budget. We've provided detailed information on your many travel options to the island, which are located on the travel page. If you have any more questions, please reach out!

Question

Are masks required at wedding events?

Answer

As of September 6, in accordance with Nantucket Board of Health Emergency Order No. 16, "all individuals, vaccinated and unvaccinated, must wear a mask at indoor public spaces". Face coverings are also required on transportation, including the ferries and the Nantucket public bus system. The Siasconset Union Chapel requires that all guests attending the ceremony wear masks while inside the chapel. Our venues for the welcome party on Friday and the reception on Saturday are currently requiring masks except when eating and drinking in accordance with Emergency Order No. 16. We will keep you updated on the latest policies, but please plan to have a mask with you at all times for the health and safety of yourself and others.

Question

Do I need to bring my vaccine card?

Answer

Several businesses on Nantucket, including Cisco Brewers, are now requiring proof of vaccination for entry OR a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours. Please plan to bring your vaccination card OR take a photo of the front and back, as you may be asked to show it.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

October on Nantucket can vary in temperature, but is typically between the high 50s to high 60s. Many of our weekend events are casual dress, but we ask that you wear cocktail attire to the wedding ceremony and reception. We recommend bringing a light layer in case of chilly weather, particularly for the ceremony, as the Siasconset Union Chapel is not heated.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle from downtown Nantucket to Sconset and back for your convenience. Since folks are staying at a variety of hotels, we're working to find a central location that is convenient for all of our guests. We will have details on pickup time and location soon. If you prefer to transport yourself, there are many taxi companies on island. Please check our travel page for more information on transportation on Nantucket.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. If you have a personal or rented vehicle, there is street parking available in 'Sconset, and there is guest parking available outside the White Elephant for the reception.
