Flights to Shannon Airport
Direct flights can be found from Boston or Newark to Shannon Airport. Shannon Airport is just over a 2 hour drive from Ballina. Rental cars are available at the airport and can be booked ahead of time. For those with children, car seats can be reserved as well. *Please note that the Irish drive as they do in Europe. The driver sits on the right side of the car, and drives on the left side of the road. Roundabouts flow clockwise (of which there are a lot).
