Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park is Atlanta's premier green space. This 185-acre park is located about 1 mile northeast of Downtown, between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods and is home to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It's a great place for a walk or jog; you can feed the ducks at the lake or have an afternoon picnic, you can also hop on the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail and you'll find yourself at a ton of restaurants and shops.

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail, Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta BeltLine is a former railway corridor around the core of Atlanta. The outdoor space is comprised of 33 miles of trails and walkways, open green space and parks that wind between the city's in-town neighborhoods. Eating There's no shortage of restaurants on the BeltLine. Most are placed around the Eastside Trail. Krog Street and Ponce City markets alone have a plethora of dining options. Parish, King of Pops and Woody's Famous Philadelphia Cheesesteaks are some of our other faves. Drinking The area has an abundance of patios and pet-friendly watering holes. Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is a bar and restaurant with a large outdoor area and tons of games to pass the time. We would also recommend stopping by New Realm Brewery for an ice-cold craft beer. Things to Do The BeltLine isn’t just for eating, drinking and shopping. Rent a bike or snap some photos at one of the many works of public art found throughout, including murals and sculptures.

Superica

Superica

455 Legends Place, Atlanta, GA 30339
, (770) 675-6318

Delicious Tex-Mex. Everything on the menu is good! There can be long wait times if there is a Braves game that day, but it's worth it. Big portions, big flavors. I usually get the Tampiquena and an O.G. Margarita.

Zeigler's BBQ & Catering

Zeigler's BBQ & Catering

3451 Cobb Parkway Northwest, Acworth, GA 30101
, (770) 529-5227

Voted best BBQ in the city. That's a big deal in the South. The chicken is good, but do yourself a favor and get the brisket.
