Father of the Bride
As the title states, Pete is the father to Lanie. He has raised Lanie to accept nothing less than God's best and has made sure she knows that she should always be treated with the utmost love, care, and respect - all things that Pete knows Weston does. Pete will also most likely cry the most when his daughter is officially married.
Father of the Groom
Randy is Weston's father, and has obviously been a huge influence on Weston. And it's a good thing, because Randy is an excellent example of how a husband should look. Randy will probably also be a bit emotional at the ceremony.
Mother of the Bride
Shana is the mother to Lanie and will probably place second as far as tears are concerned. Lanie is not only Shana's firstborn but the two of them also have a special bond that started with single-motherhood. Although Shana will be sad to see Lanie leave home, she couldn't be happier with whom she is leaving home with.
Mother of the Groom
Donella is Weston's mother, and has held the title of "Best Mom of the Year" for Twenty Three years and counting. Weston is Donella's first child, and she also has a daughter (Erin Green). Donella is the reason Weston has had any success in life, because she is always there to support him.
Maid of Honor
A junior in communications and marketing, Priscilla - aka "Cilla" - has the end goal to pursue cosmetology. Cilla is not only Lanie's sister, but she is arguably Lanie's closest friend (other than Weston, of course). Cilla and Lanie have gone through life's ups, downs, and all-arounds together and their relationship is stronger than most. She knows everything there is to know about Lanie, meaning that if a biography was ever started by the bride herself, Cilla could finish it.
Best Man
Bonding over common interests, Nick and Weston were college roommates for one and a half years. Nick is one of the original members of "The Crew" (core members: Grant, Lanie, Nick, and Weston). Nick is the type of person who anyone would be lucky to call their best friend, and is truly one of Weston's best friends.
Bridesmaid
A nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston - and the first single lady in this bridal party. Kayla and Lanie have known each other since middle school and grew to be friends during their softball years. However, it was senior year of high school that these two really came together to form a lasting friendship. As the two went to attend their respective universities, they stayed in touch and were always able to find time to bond and make memories over the holiday breaks.
Groomsman
Ben and Weston have been friends since middle school when they were doubles partners in tennis. Fortunately, Ben eventually learned how to land a serve without lobbing it - unfortunately, this was after Weston quit playing tennis. Some of their best experiences have involved crazy trips across the country just to go to some concerts. Ben continues to be one of Weston's closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Andrea is the small business owner of "Wonderfully Made Jewelry" by night, journalist by day, and agriculturist in her free time; she is also the second, lovely single lady in the party. Andrea and Lanie have been best friends since third grade and probably have way too many jokes that can make the other cry with laughter. These two are practically family, especially with the frequency each would drop by the other's house - whether either one of them were there or not - just to talk with parents...or sleep. Adult-life and distance has kept each of these girls busy but these two are still able to pick up where they left off and be there for each other when it matters most.
Groomsman
Grant is from Hawaii. Not much else needs to be said, but for description's sake, it will. Grant and Weston met in college and bonded over shared interests and long-boarding. Grant is one of Weston's closest - even if not geographically - friends. His favorite song is "Float On" by Modest Mouse.
Bridesmaid
Erin is a junior who is pursuing outdoor leadership ministries and graphic design, a cross country athlete, and has a very creative mind. She is undoubtedly a woman after God's own heart who, during any weekend or break she is given, is out in the community helping others and volunteering. She is in all ways a blessing. For Lanie, Erin is her future sister-in-love - to copy both of the moms' words. She is someone Lanie very much looks forward to being closer to.
Groomsman
Alexander and Weston have been friends since middle school. Every friend group needs at least one member who occasionally has questionable sanity - and that member would be Alexander. When he's not busy studying law, his antics will remind you that life doesn't have to be so serious all the time. He continues to be one of Weston's best friends.
