What is the dress code?

Answer

Casual to dressy casual; jeans are totally fine to wear.

What temperature should I dress for?

Answer

Because springtime weather in Oklahoma is very unpredictable, you may want to give yourself outfit flexibility. Either bring a jacket or a second outfit if you're traveling. According to the Weather Channel, Stratford's average temperatures in March are highs of 64 and lows of 39. (Yes, we're praying for record highs, no rain, and little-to-no wind; feel free to join the prayer circle).

How far away is the Venue from ____? (Times may vary due to traffic)

Galveston - 6:40 hours, 445 miles (via I-45) Houston - 5:50 hours, 365 miles (via I-45) Dallas - 2:30 hours, 160 miles (via I-35) OKC - 1:20 hours, 80 miles (via I-35) Tulsa - 2:10 hours, 150 miles (via I-44) *includes toll road*

Does the wedding have a color scheme?

Answer

The colors are green and white. The green is a bright, spring-like green; some call it "kelly green." However, you are by no means required to match this.

Is there a theme?

Answer

Not really. It is on St. Patty's Day though, so if you want to come dressed as a leprechaun, you'll earn bonus points in my book

Absolutely! The goal is to make this wedding as fun, relaxed, and family-friendly as possible. No frills, just chills.

What kind of food will be served?

Will there be dancing?

Answer

You bet there will be! And the bride would love it if you leave your nerves at the table and have fun! This is a judgement free, rhythmically challenged zone; this means you're free to hop right on in.

My vehicle takes premium gas, where can I fill up?

Answer

Stratford only has regular gas and diesel. If your vehicle needs a higher grade of gas, fill up before you get too far off of the highway. HOWEVER, the last trip I made down to the venue, there was a Love's Gas Station that was near completion - so they might have premium. I will update once I know for sure.

Question

Will my phone have cell service at the venue?

Answer

This is the boonies, so unless you have AT&T, odds are you will be out of cell range. GPS will typically still work if you've already pre-loaded your map on the way there. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until you get back to a main road.
