This theater has quite the experience attached. Warren Theaters are modeled after the classic art deco theaters in the 1950s, Along with the throwback that the theater style gives off, all of the employees wear 1950's style movie theater uniforms as well to match the theme.
In this District of OKC, you can both walk around to see some sites or eat your heart out. Things to do include taking the Water Taxi around the canal, walking the canal's path which can lead you to Centennial Park (where you can see the Land Run Monument), and also go see the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
Although not a large metro area of OKC, it is arguably one of the most enjoyable. There are little shops and wonderful places to eat (faves are listed specifically on this "To Do" list), as well as some historical locations like the Memorial Museum.
Located in midtown: "Counter-serve eatery featuring unique waffle sandwiches in casual, airy digs with outdoor seating." Mouth-watering, highly recommend giving it a chance if you can! It's a breakfast / brunch place, open from 7am - 2 pm.
Located in midtown: "Japanese noodle soups with a variety of ingredients offered in a cozy, contemporary space." Our favorite hot spot and where we went after Weston "popped the question." They have great ramen bowls, delicious garlic fried rice (especially if you like egg), and anime plays on the TVs. It's not everyone's speed but it sure is ours. It's a nice and relaxing time while you fuel up. 10/10 would recommend.
Food Highlights include: "The Mule," "Goro Ramen," "Empire Slice House," and "Pie Junkie." Lanie discovered some of her favorite art in a little shop called "DNA Galleries." The Plaza District is home to galleries, studios, retail shops, restaurants, performance venues and creative services. Choose from a variety of gourmet dining and drinking establishments and visit retail shops featuring artist-made, vintage and retro clothing and home furnishings. Experience Oklahoma’s premier professional theatre company, Lyric Theatre, in the district’s historic Plaza Theatre.

Okay, yes this is a chain establishment, but they have the best custard we've ever had. They make it fresh every hour and it's heavenly. Whether you are driving north or south, treat yo'self. There are a handful in the North Dallas area and north part of OKC. Lanie's favorite concrete - vanilla custard with melted chocolate chips. Weston's favorite - chocolate custard with peanut butter.
