FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not addressed here, please reach out to Vanessa at VanessaTRosen@gmail.com
Question

What time can I arrive?

Answer

Vanessa's dad is a violinist and plays in a trio. His trio has graciously offered to play at the wedding before the ceremony begins, and will be performing at our venue from 4:30-5:00pm. We hope you can arrive by 4:30pm to make it to their performance!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask for our guests to not bring children under the age of 5 years.

Question

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are indoors. If it’s nice out the outdoor courtyard space will be open during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is provided, there is a lot across the street. There will be signs directing you to the parking lot within the City of Lakes Waldorf School. We cannot have cars parked there overnight, so if you think you might not want to drive your car home we suggest utilizing the street parking in surrounding neighborhoods. Please make arrangements so you can get home safely! There is no handicap parking. If handicap accessibility is needed we have a door on the side of The Blaisdell (in the alley to the right of the building) that guests can enter.

Question

What’s for dinner? Also, I have specific food restrictions, who can I mention these to?

Answer

We will be offering a buffet with both chicken and beef roast (both are gluten free), as well as a plated vegetarian option which is penne pasta with roasted vegetables in a pesto cream sauce. If you have more specific restrictions please reach out to Vanessa at VanessaTRosen@gmail.com, and she will try to work with the catering company to try to be as accommodating as possible.

Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

The hotel is a short 10 min drive from the venue. We weren't able to provide a shuttle, but there are plenty of other easy options such as Uber or Lyft.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

In compliance with current CDC guidelines, masks are not required at our event. However, guests are encouraged to wear them if they feel more comfortable. We encourage you to bring your own if you choose to wear a mask.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Last call is at 11:30pm and the reception ends at midnight

Question

Where are we registered for gifts?

Answer

We made our registry during COVID, so since everything was closed we decided to register solely online and you can follow the link on our website. Thank you!
