Just like how most people our age meet now-a-days, we met on a dating app called "Bumble". One night Vanessa was with her friends and they were trying to help her find someone on Bumble. Luckily for us, they ended up swiping right on Eric. After texting for a couple of weeks we decided to go on our first date on May 6, 2016 at Lakes and Legends brewery. We decided to make things “official” shortly after! Eric took Vanessa out to dinner then surprised her with a very romantic horse and carriage ride around Nicollet Island where he proposed on October 19, 2019. Of course she said YES! We originally planned on getting married 8/28/2020. Our friends and family mean so much to us that we couldn’t imagine celebrating without everyone safely, which is why we decided to postpone our wedding. We can’t wait to get married on 8/27/21!
