Bus to and from the Wedding from Bayou Beer Garden

4:00: Meet at Bayou Beer Garden (326 N. Jefferson Davis Parkway) 4:15: Buses leave from buses in back parking lot of Bayou Beer Garden (40 minute ride) 5:00pm: Guests can begin arriving at Palmettos 5:15pm: Ceremony begins at Palmettos 10:40pm(ish): Shuttle arrives back at Bayou Beer Garden-drops of those who are headed home, and then continues on to Frenchman Street to drop off the rest of us for the after party There is also parking available at Palmettos, however we are encouraging everyone to take the shuttle because it will be fun, and we want everyone to be safe. If you do take the shuttle we recommend that you Uber/Lyft/taxi to Bayou Beer Garden, so you don’t need to worry about driving at the end of the night. If you do park near Bayou Beer Garden, make sure to allow enough time to find a spot.

The character and charm of the houses in New Orleans is one of our favorite things about the city. If you are interested, there are many great Airbnb options around town. If you want to be close to the Friday night BBQ and Sunday morning brunch we would recommend finding a place in the Mid City / Bayou Saint John / City Park area. You may want to team up with other wedding guests and find a great place together. If you have questions about the location of your house rental, feel free to reach out to Meg or Tim directly. Rathbone Mansions

Rathbone Mansions is comprised of two separate mansions built in the mid 1800's. No two rooms are alike, with each possessing its own individual character and charm. A complimentary, continental breakfast is available every morning in the lobby of each Mansion with fresh coffee (coffee & chicory), tea (assorted), fresh fruit and croissants from a local bakery in nearby French Quarter. The hotel includes a pool and hot tub and self-service outdoor bar. Rates range from $169-$205/night for standard Queen/King rooms during our dates. There is a 7% discount to the available room of your choice. If you are interested in booking a room at Rathbone Mansions, give them the name Meg Lally Wedding at booking to receive discount. Many of Meg's immediate family is staying here, you can join the party :)

Oakview Bed and Breakfast

This is a quaint B&B is just steps from New Orleans City Park including the beautiful sculpture gardens, art museum, and Morning Call coffee and beignets. The inn is walking distance to Saint John Court (where we will be holding the Welcome BBQ on Friday night). There are only 4 rooms still available for our wedding weekend dates (out of 5 rooms total) in the inn and they range in price from $115-$149/night.

New Orleans Marriott

This hotel is right downtown on Canal Street and in a great location for access to the French Quarter, both the St. Charles and Canal Street car lines, and the Mississippi River. We have a block of hotel rooms reserved at the rate of $173/night. Make reservations before 4/12/18 to ensure that you receive the group rate. This is a great lower cost option in the Mid-City area! Rooms with private bathrooms during our wedding weekend dates range from $66-$99/night for rooms with 2-4 beds private each room.
