Mid City Night X Pub Crawl

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Parkway Bakery & Tavern
538 Hagan Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119

A sacred ritual in its tenth year, Mid City Night is a pub crawl celebrating the diverse bar culture of the Mid-City neighborhood of New Orleans. Traditionally, it begins at 7:00 on a Saturday and includes six stops. This year, because the founder is getting married on Saturday, we will begin at 6:00 on Thursday and walk to just three bars. Kids are not welcome unless they are 21 or older. Attire is casual. First stop (6pm) is at Parkway Bakery and Tavern, home of the world famous New Orleans Po-Boy (Obama ate here). The second (7pm) stop will be The Holy Ground Irish Pub (106 S Jefferson Davis Pkwy.) and final stop (8pm) will be at Finn McCool's Irish Pub (3701 Banks St).

Block Party & Water Slide on Saint John Court (Bring Your Kids)

4:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for an informal welcome party in our neighborhood. Please bring your kids if they are in town with you. Since we won't be having kids at the wedding, we would love to celebrate with the little ones on Friday! The attire is casual. Bring a bathing suit and towel so you can go down the inflatable water slide (even if you don't think you'll go down, bring one just in case). Saint John Court is a small street with cul-de-sac off Bayou Saint John and our neighbors have graciously agreed to help us host this welcome BBQ. If you drive, please park on Moss Street (not on the Bayou side) and walk to Saint John Court. If you take an Lyft/Uber/taxi, you can use the address G Saint John Court. Please bring whatever you would like to drink (alcoholic and/or non), we will take care of the main dishes and our friends and neighbors are making the sides :)

Our Wedding!

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Palmettos, on Bayou Bonfouca, about 35 minutes from New Orleans. We will provide a shuttle from New Orleans to and from Palmettos. If you choose to drive, there is parking available at the venue. For more information about the shuttle check out the Travel & Places to Stay tab above. Please let Meg & Tim know if you plan to take the shuttle. The attire is wedding casual. Look sharp but be comfortable, as it may be warm and humid this time of year. Men do not need to wear a suit and tie, women may wear sandals or flats if they prefer. Dancing shoes required!

Wigged Out After Party

10:45 pm

The shuttle (AKA party bus) will drop us off at the after party location following the reception. Attire includes wigs, boas, and other silliness. Bring a bag with a little costume flair to the wedding to put on for the last hour of the wedding and the after party. Let's all go out for some costumed fun in downtown New Orleans after we tie the knot!
