Why is there a photo of Ben Stiller with an eye patch? Let us explain. 

In S4:E2 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Ben Stiller invites Larry to his birthday party and graciously tells him not to bring a gift. As expected, things go very wrong for Larry. He accidentally pokes Ben in the eye with a skewer that he just couldn’t seem to find a place to put down or throw away. A few days later Larry finds that Ben is angry at him not just for poking him in the eye but also for not getting him a gift, as he finds out everyone at the party did in fact get Ben Stiller a gift. 

We hope we don’t get poked in the eye accidentally (or intentionally) on our wedding day but when we say please just bring yourself, we mean it, especially if you’re traveling to join us on our special day. And yet we have a gift registry for our first home just for those of you who just can’t help yourselves, and we’re not mad at that! Hopefully, the market cools down soon and we find our first home. Wish us luck.
