Big Spoon Creamery
Seriously delicious ice cream shop. They have amazing flavors that are always changing but our go-to is their super dark chocolate ice cream. Definitely a must-try!
Taco Morro Loco
This is our favorite place to go on (taco )Tuesday date nights. They have truly incredible salsa and super tasty tacos.
Rojo
This is the very first restaurant we went to together in B'ham. It's right across the street from our wedding venue and half a block away from Daniel's first apartment. We recommend the tatchos, which are nachos but with tater tots instead of tortilla chips.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Beautiful and free, we highly recommend you check out this gorgeous garden.
Continental Bakery
After you've walked around the botanical gardens, swing by this adorable French bakery and treat yourself to something delicious. They have a large assortment of freshly baked bread and pastries. We recommend the everything bagels and almond croissants but really you can't go wrong with any of their items.
Saturn
This super fun coffee shop and bar has TONS of board games plus video games from back in the day .
Jemison Park
Beautiful park with walking trails alongside a creek and situated next to an old grist mill.
The Market at Pepper Place | Saturday Farmers Market
If you are in town Saturday morning/afternoon, then definitely swing by the market at Pepper Place. It's filled with fresh produce, handmade crafts, food, and live music.
