What should I wear to the wedding?

It's a Tiny Wedding, it's unconventional, it won't last long, but it's still a wedding. At least wear something you might wear to church. Think about what you want to look like in pictures 2 or 3 decades from now. If you want to get fancy that's fine.... just don't look better than us!

What should I wear to the Pre-Wedding Dinner/After Party?

Answer

The Pre-Wedding dinner is at sort of an upscale Italian place, so think business casual/sunday school clothes. The After Party is like a reception but less formal. You can wear whatever you wore to the wedding, or take your tie or heels off if you want. Again just think about what you want to look like in pictures.

Is it rude to skip the After Party?

We know having a wedding at 1pm on a Sunday is tricky. Some people may want to get on the road and not have to spend another night in Birmingham. That is fine and we completely understand. Of course we would like to see everyone after the wedding, you could even pop over for 15 minutes or something. But don't worry about hurting our feelings if you need to get going.

What about parking?

Answer

In general, please try to consolidate cars as much as possible. The restaurant on Saturday has a small parking lot available. We have a valet parking service available for the ceremony. For the after-party, only street parking is available.

What should I do with the gift I brought?

Answer

First, thank you! If you have a physical gift with you, please bring it to the dinner with you on Saturday.
