We’re getting married!

How We Met Laci and Jesse met after Laci moved to San Diego, three blocks away from the Opal House (aka Coeur d'Alene South) where Jesse was living with some of Idaho's finest transplants who happened to grow up with Laci. Jesse and Laci started hanging out as friends as part of their large crew of buddies in SD. Jesse first noticed something special in Laci when she asked if sliding was allowed in their co-ed softball league....something that had never previously been attempted in league history.  After a lovely evening with friends at Pacific Beach's finest establishment, Thrusters, Laci and Jesse had their first kiss and the rest is history. Laci puts up with Jesse yelling vulgarities at the TV screen when things aren't going well for the Golden State Warriors, she helped him look younger by teaching him the virtues of using face lotion, and made his rap dreams come true by gifting him the gold grill he's wanted his whole life. Jesse looks past Laci calling herself Ferguson's "mother".....Ferguson is a cat. The Proposal May 25, 2019. Jesse had it all mapped out: (1) Laci had plans for a day out. (2) Transform their backyard with the help from his family who had secretly flown into town. (3) Meet up with Laci. (4) Get down on one knee. Pop the question. Laci says yes.  The day hit a few snags, but Laci was guided down the path to the proposal thanks to our friends Nicole and Jackson. After the backyard was prepped, Jesse met up with Laci, Jackson, and Nicole at a wine bar in Bird Rock. After a white wine flight (better to hide any inevitable spills by Jesse) to calm the nerves, Jesse and Laci returned to their house. They walked through the yard decorated with rose petals, candles, pictures, and tiki torches as Ray LaMontagne's "You Are The Best Thing" began playing over the speakers. Laci's first words were "What is happening? What is happening?" but then Jesse got down on one knee and Laci said yes!
