Maid of Honor
The bride's long time, hometown best friend. Lauren invited herself to a Britney Spears concert with Al & the rest is history. Together they've shared a borderline unreasonable amount of laughs, cries & ridiculous memories. She could write the book on this whole, Maid of Honor thing & even married, the bride will still send her valentines.
Best Man
The bride had never seen such "man love" til she saw the groom & Seth reunited. This friendship kicked off at the Naval Academy where the alphabet enabled them to sit side by side at their commissioning and receive their handshake from President Bush (their new boss) one right after the other. OH. If the father and brother of the bride and the groom are walking a little funny, it's because they went through a wedding day workout with this guy.
Parents of the Bride
Angela & Mike Toomey are honored guests as the brides Mother & Father. Married for over thirty years, they raised both Lauren & her brother with love, patience (so much patience), wisdom and support. It took no time for them to welcome Nick to the family with Patriots & Red Sox apparel, lessons in shoveling snow & New England seafood & open arms.
Mother of the Groom
Hands down, Nick's mother is THE Southern Belle of the Ball. As beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, she raised the groom to be the amazing man he is today. She makes the best sausage balls, never fails to show her love and even ventured to Massachusetts for Christmas (It's VERY cold). Thank her for the authentic Nashville hot chicken at the reception, she pulled some strings to snag the bride's favorite hot chicken recipe.
Brother of the Bride
When Angela got pregnant, Lauren made it clear that she DID NOT want a sister. However, she way underestimated how cool of a brother she was going to end up with. The bride & groom are honored and touched to have him play the song that Lauren will be walking down the aisle to.
The Beauties in Navy Blue
These gals have seen the bride through almost every stage of life and now to the altar! Hometown pals who never left my side, presidential campaign co-workers turned to lifelong friends & the best Navy wife example and zen sister this bride could ask for. On the wedding day, they're rocking the "Navy" blue and to me, everyday they are GOLD.
Navy Sailors & Marines
This honored USNA tradition sets the stage for the brides official "Welcome to the Marine Corps". Our swordsmen and women are made up of the grooms USNA classmates, rugby teammates and flight school mentors. Immediately following the ceremony, get yourself in front of the chapel steps to see the Stewarts come out of the Chapel with this event.

Uncle and big brother figure to the bride. Golf mentor & Toomey Turkey Bowl football match up to the groom. The new "Stewarts" are honored to have him kick off our ceremony with the first reading!

Aunty Wanda shares the same birthday with the bride, (which is the only thing they're both good at sharing) and she whooped the grooms butt in her body pump class. She will be leading the responsorial during the ceremony.
Reader
"MK" is a very close friend of the Stewarts and a perfect example of the amazing friends that surround them. With all that they have in common (seriously, too much), the bride & MK should've met twenty times before the groom introduced them years ago. She will be delivering the third reading at the ceremony.

The prayers of the faithful will be delivered by "Kel". A forever friend of the bride regardless of the time she got a bubble airplane propeller stuck in her hair. These prayers are especially dear to the bride & groom to send and receive the best intentions and love to our guests, both near & far.
