I met Bernie on my second day of moving into ASU. I was suppose to be on the first day, since we were roommates, but he arrived a whole day late. Hopefully he shows up on time for the wedding! :P Bernie and I have been the best friends from the start and I find myself lucky to call him my Best Man.

Abbie and I met on the first day of medical school (pictured above). We have been inseparable ever since, with doctors even mixing up our names multiple times. We have spent hundreds of hours studying together and even more time encouraging each other to live our respective doctor dreams. Make sure to congratulate her, as she will have just graduated medical school!

I met Smith in college, but Kylie actually knew him in elementary school! Be sure to ask him about all of the funny photos he has of tiny Kylie. Smith has been an amazing friend and an even better travel partner. Make sure to ask him about the joys of the Admirals Club and how amazing it is!

Leeann and I met in medical school and became super close over the pandemic. We have spent countless hours stressing together, and playing with our little puppies. Make sure you congratulate her, as she will have just graduated medical school!

Carlos and I met at ASU and we have stayed friends after graduating and moving away from ASU. He is always showing me the hidden gems in Tempe and is always down to travel and explore new cities, especially if we can enjoy the Admirals Club on the way.

Ellie was originally my "boyfriend's ex-roommate's ex-girlfriend" but now I call her bridesmaid (that is a lie... I still refer to her as "Jose's ex-roomate's ex-girlfriend" just to see people's reactions)! She is one of those people I just clicked with immediately, and her joy can light up literally any room! She even came over to help my dog, Penny, cope with the fact that she had been spayed (pictured above).

Dan and I used to live together while we were graduate students at ASU, where he was able to bless me with his morning smoothies! One of the coolest things that Dan and I did together was hike Mt. Humphreys (well Dan hiked it, while I trailed behind struggling).

Liz can honestly be called a true "ride or die". She has been with me since colorguard in college (and even remembers when I first came to colorguard practice saying I met a cute boy named 'Jose')! She is always there to build me up on hard days, and our friendship has truly stood the test of time.

Dom and I are both Marvel fanatics. We originally bonded over discussing our opinions and takes on the latest Marvel movies but have ended up becoming great friends. Dom is an amazing friend, even though some of his takes on movies (especially about the DC franchise) are trash!

I never knew what it would be like to have a sister, until Daniela came around! She accepted me into the family immediately with open arms, and was quick to tell me about all of the embarrassing things her brother does! Congratulate her, as she is currently working toward her PhD!

I could not have asked for a better brother-in-law. Caleb is an amazing human being who has shown me nothing but love and acceptance into his family. He is always making sure I feel welcomed in every family event and shows care and love for his family.
