I met Bailey freshman year of college through our sorority ADPi. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Bailey is her kind soul! She is always helping people, her career path as an Occupational Therapist is a caring profession, she was a big sister through the "Big Brothers Big Sisters" program, helped run a breakfast for homeless program in college, and has always had multiple jobs. The next thing I think of is how Bailey is always down to act goofy with me! From pictures to dressing up for a theme party I can always count on Bailey!
Steven Ray
Best Man
Steven is Kyle's brother! Like Kyle, Steven went to college at Grand Valley. Steven and Kyle enjoy nerding out over Star Wars and having "brodowns" which includes drinking glass bottle cokes and watching TV and movies. Steven enjoys the NBA, particularly his favorite team the Pistons. Something unique about Steven is he has a special hand shake with everyone in the family! Every time he says good-bye he does his different handshake with each member of the family! Steven works in HR for a Grand Rapids manufacturing company.
Karisa Kirkendall
Bridesmaid
I've known Karisa since 7th grade when we were both on the middle school dance team the Raiderettes! Typing the name Karisa is weird because I've called her "Karl" for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I even forget her real name! I don't believe I have a high school memory without Karl in it! We would stay up late making music videos, watching Disney channel movies, and eating raw brownie mix! Her young spirit is put to good use while doing college ministry at the University of Nebraska!
Josh Schipper
Best Man
Kyle has known Josh or "Schipp" since elementary school. They used to have bonfires and play video games in the basement almost every Summer night when they were in high school. They were on the football team together and both have a love for cooking! Most nights they would also stay up and cook a whole feast. If it included food Schipp and Kyle were involved! Josh is the life of every party and seems to know everyone wherever he goes. Josh recently moved to Grand Rapids and is a salesman at a landscaping supply company.
Jasmine Peterson
Bridesmaid
I met Jasmine when I was a sophomore in college and she was a freshman. We met through the sorority where I was considered Jasmine's big sister or mentor! We hit it off on the first night we met. Later, I found out I peer pressured her to drink! I guess it wasn't too traumatizing because she picked me as her Big Sister! Although to be honest, I think Jasmine was always mentoring me. She is so wise and I could tell her anything! She also is always down for an adventure whether you need to go last minute shopping for a new dress or want to do a last minute trip to World's of Fun (an Amusement Park in Kansas) Jasmine will be there for you! She is currently using her wisdom as a Resident at the University of Iowa in the general surgery program!
Brendan Bremer

Kyle and Brendan first met at the end of high school but became good friends after they began going to a Michigan country music festival "Faster Horses". Both Kyle and Brendan ended up living in metro Detroit and both work in accounting/finance. They can spend hours talking about the accounting/finance world from the stock market to the business world in general. Most of those hours talking will be spent with a drink in hand! Brendan also played hockey in high school and still plays occasionally! Kyle and Brendan's dads were also next door neighbors growing up.
Caroline Nugent

I met Caroline through ADPi! Bailey and I were looking for a roommate to live with in the sorority house. We ended up finding Caroline and she has been stuck with us ever since! Caroline and I always bonded over coffee from Starbucks and Taylor Swift! She introduced me to PSL day which is the first day Starbucks sells pumpkin spice lattes in fall! Caroline is quiet at first but once she opens up you'll see the joy that she finds in small things makes life fun! I remember the day she received a molecule set for one of her classes, it was like a kid on Christmas morning! All of that excitement went to good use because now she is a Resident in St. Louis for pediatrics!
Andrew Carter

Kyle met Andrew during his Senior year of college. Through mutual connections, Andrew became one of Kyle's roommates. Despite usually working from the early morning until 10pm on weekends, Andrew would always join Kyle and the rest of the party out for drink in Grand Rapids. Recently they spend most of their time together playing video games even while in different cities! While Andrew is clearly a better player, he still sends a text to Kyle asking him to join! Kyle would say Andrew carry's the team while playing (just don't tell their friend Sawyer that).
Nicole Hildebrandt

Nicole is my sister-in-law! I first met Nicole in 2016 a little while after my brother Patrick started dating her. My first memory about Nicole was actually of Patrick getting excited about Justin Bieber on the radio and how much Nicole loved the song that was playing! Me being a Justin Bieber fan as well made me think she is a keeper! They are now happily married with a daughter, Olivia! Nicole has some pretty killer dance moves so hopefully she will be tearing up the dance floor at the wedding! She is a teacher at a private school in Lawrence.
Patrick Hildebrandt

Patrick is Paige's older brother! Patrick gave Paige her first hair cut when she was 18 months old and Patrick was 4 years old. It was Christmas Eve and Patrick must have thought she needed the front chunk of her hair cut to look good for Christmas! He is one of the main reasons she became an Engineer! He graduated with an engineering degree and Paige's competitive self had to prove she could do it too! He is a great brother and is a wonderful father to his daughter, Oliva. He is currently using his engineering degree at the engineering consulting company GBA.
Melissa Walter
Bridesmaid
Melissa is Kyle's sister. While they had their fair share of brother-sister bickering growing up, they have enjoyed many fun times including Kyle's first Garth Brooks concert! One of Melissa's favorite hobbies is snowboarding, making many trips to Colorado and Northern Michigan. Melissa works at a hospital, managing their patient record system. Melissa is the proud mother of twins, Henry (the ring bearer) and Paisley who is one of the flower girls.
Mike Walter
Groomsman
Mike is Kyle's Brother In-Law. Both Mike and Kyle love bonfires and are always starting one up when they are at Kyle's parents' house. Mike works as a mechanic and is also Brian and Kathy's go to painter. He is also a skilled woodworker and handyman and has done a number of projects for his and Melissa's house. Mike enjoys NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers.
Kasey Carpenter
Usher
Kasey is the "wing-woman" who helped Kyle meet Paige at the bar. Kyle met Kasey in college at GVSU. One of their favorite activities in college was going line dancing almost every Thursday night at the Back 40 in Grand Rapids. Kasey and Kyle will also take every moment to talk football smack between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. Kasey works in Human Resources at Padnos near Grand Rapids.
Chris Stark
Usher
Kyle met Chris in his first year of college. They eventually became roommates living in West Side Grand Rapids. Chris and Kyle hosted a number of parties at the "Dougie" house. They would also rock out at Mulligan's in East GR with $4 pitchers of PBR. Chris handle's companies' social media pages and can also speak French.
Lynda Hildebrandt
Mother of the Bride
Lynda is Paige's Mom! She has been a great support system through this wedding process and in life! There was a never a problem Paige couldn't call her about! One phone call with Lynda and you feel like everything is right in the world! Lynda's specialty is putting things together, baskets, flower arrangement, outfits, or a mess after Scott (her husband) just did a project. Paige likes to wait til her mom is in town and uses her to help decorate Kyle and Paige's place! Lynda has a true love of songs by Pitbull. When these song plays clear the dance floor because Lynda will be showing off her moves!
Scott Hildebrandt
Father of the Bride
Scott is Paige's Dad! Thankfully he has been retired through this wedding planning process so he can go to places and call people when ever needed! Paige would like to blame her dad for her love of running errands! When she was in middle/high school Scott would wake her up early and say if she comes with him now to run errands, they can go get breakfast! Later in college and after college Paige would save all of her Christmas shopping to do the last couple days before Christmas when she would be back in Kansas. This drove Scott crazy as all of his shopping had been done for weeks! But Scott always took those days off knowing he would be running errands for Paige every day! Guess she is still learning Scott's classic line the "5 P's" (Proper Planning Prevents Piss-poor Performance)
Kathy Ray
Mother of the Groom
Kathy is Kyle's mom. Kyle and his mom talk on the phone almost daily. Kathy has a super power of always knowing what you need! If you have an upset stomach she is there with medicine or food to help, have a stain on you shirt she knows how to get it out and will have extra to send home with you. She has a very caring heart and helps her children in anyway she can! Another fun fact about Kathy is she loves going to the casino! Her parents also enjoyed going to the casino and this love has continued to be passed down because Kyle carries cash on him ready to go to the casino at any time! Kathy also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Brian Ray
Father of the Groom
Brian is Kyle's dad! Brian loves to tell stories, especially about Kyle's younger days of having bonfire parties in their back yard. Kyle would always say only a couple friends would be coming over and the next thing you know 20-30 people would be in their back yard. Brian also spent time as Kyle's basketball coach growing up. He works with hydraulic systems. When he's not working, he's spending time with his grandchildren or watching Red Wings Hockey.
Paisely Walter
Flower Girl
Paisely is Kyle's niece and Melissa and Mike's daughter. At the time of writing this she is 10 months old and her personality is starting to come out. She is starting to crawl and loves doing things on her own.
Henry Walter
Ring Bearer
Henry is Kyle's nephew and godson and also Melissa and Mike's son. Henry is Paisley's Twin Brother. He is learning how to stand. Henry enjoys watching football and NASCAR with his dad! He is more of a laid back little boy.
Olivia (Liv) Hildebrandt
Flower Girl
Liv is Paige's niece and Patrick and Nicole's daughter. She loves dogs especially her two dogs Gus and Wriggly who she lays on top of and feeds food from her high chair. Liv is currently working on her walking to be able to walk down the aisle without the help of her parents!
