Kauffman Stadium
The Kansas City Royals will be hosting the Detroit Tigers (Go Tigers!!) in Kansas City (45-50 minutes out from Lawrence) during the weekend. There is an 8:10 CT game on Friday and a game on Sunday at 2:10 CT (Bride and Groom may be in attendance Sunday to root on their respective teams).
Massachusetts Street
Massachusetts Street or "Mass St." is great for shopping and restaurants in the Lawrence area.
Allen Fieldhouse
Allen Field house is where the University of Kansas Basketball team plays! It is also the home to the Naismith's original 1892 manuscript of the rules of basketball.

The Oread has a roof top bar that overlooks the University of Kansas

Black Stag is a brewery right next to the venue

Free State is a Brewery right next to the venue and also has home made pub chips!

Lawrence Beer Company is also brewey in the downtown Lawrence area

The Sand bar is a college bar but plays hits from all decades and serves a toy with every drink!
Big Mill
The Big Mill has Detroit style pizza and some Detroit themed menu items.
National WWI Museum and Memorial
WWI museum is in Kansas City and is about 45 min drive away from Lawrence. It is a great museum if you have the time to see it.
Boulevard Brewing Tours & Recreation Center
Boulevard is a very popular brewery in Kansas. We would compare it to Founders in Michigan. They have a tour you can go on in Kansas City of the brewery.
