Wedding Party

Wedding Party

Zach Heffner

Best Man

Kyle and his family had just moved in and decided to take a walk to get familiar with the neighborhood. They passed a young kid, that looked around Kyle's age, playing basketball. That kid was Zach. The basketball then rolled down the hill and Kyle grabbed the ball and asked his parents if he could return it. He met Zach in the street, and Zach asked him to play. From that moment on, it was countless sports, sleepovers, trips, laughs, memories, and getting into some trouble. Essentially, they have not known life without each other, both of them being 30 years old and having been friends for 25 of those years. No one knows Kyle more than Zach, both the good and the bad! Kyle is so proud of Zach's accomplishments and is honored to call him his best man! If you see Zach, say hi! Congratulate him and his wife Kassie on their new gorgeous baby girl, Tatum! Also, be sure to ask him about the first time he and Cody met Lize and put their government training to use on her!

Nicola Wilson

Maid of Honor

Nicola is the sister of the Bride! Growing up Nicola and Lize had very fond memories. We were always each other's partner in crime. Some including playing dress up, building forts, and hoping to not get picked on by Kelvin. As we have grown up Nicola has become one of my best friends. We call and catch up about anything, share some laughs and memories, and enjoy a cocktail. Nicola blessed Lize with becoming an Aunt. Watching Lize's nieces and nephews grow up is one of her greatest blessings, but is even a more wonderful blessing seeing her own sister be such an amazing mother. If you see Nicola, say Hi! And congratulate her on her baby Girl Charlotte. Ask her about the time when she convinced Lize to steal make-up when she was 4.

Doug Schilling

Groomsman

DJ Dougie Smooth! Kyle has been fortunate enough to be friends with Doug for over 20 years! No one is a better hype man and there is no friend Kyle would rather go to for life advice. He is the kind of friend that is easy to brag about. He is hard working, genuine, fun and always makes an effort for his friends. This man has been so tired and will have his calendar so booked up, but he always shows up and I can't think of a better compliment or trait that I value more. Doug has been there for every life event in Kyle's life and it only makes sense to have him up there with him! Over the years they have enjoyed going to concerts, Philly sporting events, and having great laughs and conversations over a few adult beverages! If you see Doug, say hi! Congratulate him on one year of marriage with his beautiful wife, Jacqueline! Ask him about doing karaoke to Taylor Swift with the boys on our way to CCD!

Marissa Morris

Maid of Honor

Marissa is Kelvin's wife. Even though she is technically a sister-in-law, she is more of a sister to Lize. Marissa has been there for Lize in so many impactful moments in her life. She's helped her through nursing school, boy drama, and is a friend you can count on. Marissa is always there to hang and is the life of the party. As we have gotten older Marissa makes a mean Moscow Mule (now Lize's favorite drink) and is now an incredible mother to James. Kelvin (and I) hit the jackpot with Marissa! If you see Marissa, say Hi! Be sure to congratulate on her and Kelvin's new baby boy James and ask her about the time we went out in Pittsburgh for Kyle's birthday and none of the men could hang.

Cody Mitchell

Groomsman

Cody Eric! Kyle and Cody have been best friends for over 20 years as well! He has been a true friend every step of the way. We have had lots of life experiences such as cabin trips, hikes, basement hangs, and girls making us miserable in middle school. Then in adulthood, always making time to call each other, having deep conversations, and always making an effort to see each other! I could not be more proud of Cody as he has gone through life, always pushing himself and serving his country as a captain in the Coast Guard. It's not the Navy but it's still impressive! He is a friend for life and you could not ask for a better one! If you see Cody, say hi! Ask him about the Hill Road snack bar!

Marisa Willett

Bridesmaid

Marisa is the most kindhearted person you will ever meet! Marisa and Lize met in nursing school. Fate brought them together to become best friends along with Lisa. As nursing school made us have a lot of study sessions, tears, and margaritas after passing ATI we became closer and closer through all the trauma. After nursing school Lize and Marisa started working together in the CVICU. Their bond grew closer and they were inseparable. They would have couple dates, game nights (which can become very contentious), and frequent phone calls. Marisa is always there for you and truly a one of a kind friend! If you see Marisa, say Hi! Ask her about how we snuck in Bootleggers into our graduation ceremony!

Jake Hess

Groomsman

Jake and Kyle met at East Stroudsburg University. They initially met because they lived on the same floor in their freshman dorm. Jake and Kyle quickly bonded, especially when they found out they had chosen the same (useless) major of Sport Management. Jake and Kyle have been on trips together, to many concerts and have made fools of themselves countless times. This guy went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party with an ugly picture of me taped to a plain hoodie, pictured above. He is the definition of always being down for whatever, and that is truly a fun friend to have! If you see Jake at the wedding make sure to say hi and ask him about our nights out in London including the piggy back ride and the bar we become regulars at (make him do the accents)!

Maddie Lee

Bridesmaid

Lize and Maddie met while Rowing at WVU. Maddie was always so kind to Lize at practice and was very encouraging. It was pretty soon that Lize and Maddie would hangout outside of practice and before they knew it a beautiful friendship was blossoming. Maddie and Lize (along with other teammates) would go pet the cows at the school of agriculture, always make it to half priced slushies at sonic, and always building a beautiful friendship. Maddie has been there through the toughest yet most beautiful times in my life. Including tackling college and sports together. Maddie always knows how to make the best of any situation and have fun. If you see Maddie say Hi! And congratulate her on her new home and the home improvement projects that go along with that! Also, ask Maddie about the time Hannah and I surprised her in Virginia Beach for her birthday while she was on the Erg (Coach King, she did not finish her workout that day).

Stan Kuczawa

Groomsman

Stan and Kyle met at East Stroudsburg University. Stan and Jake roomed together on the same floor as Kyle in their freshman dorm. Stan and Kyle became friends through their love of baseball, playing pick up basketball, and getting after it on Friday and Saturday night. Stan has brought so much fun and many laughs to my life. My favorite thing sometimes is to just observe him, he can be hilarious without meaning to be. Stan has no self control if candy is in the immediate area, so beware when the dessert comes out, make sure to get to it before him. In recent years we have had fun golfing, going to concerts and making local trips. But what has been the most fun is watching him become a father of two and progress as a school teacher, molding young minds (unsettling thought at first). Stan and his wife, Kimmy always make time for myself and Lize and are true friends for life and I feel privileged to have him up there with me! If you see Stan, say hi! Congratulate him and Kimmy on their second baby girl, Lucille! Also make sure to ask him about the dance move he created, the "point at foot". Get him to do it at the wedding!

Lisa Richard

Bridesmaid

Lisa and Lize met in Nursing school. Lisa is the definition of what ever comes her way she will have the best time of her life. Lisa is one of the most genuine friends a girl could ask for. Lisa always wants to make sure you are able to join in on her adventures and she is always concerned about you and is one of the most selfless people I know. As we battled through nursing school we still made sure we had fun along the way. After nursing school, Lize, Lisa, and Marisa never lost touch. And still hangout, whether that is football games, Pittsburgh trips, or a triple date at Cracker Barrel! If you see Lisa, say Hi! And congratulate her on her new baby boy Silver! Ask Lisa about the time we went to Pittsburgh for Halloween, Lisa loves Halloween and to outfits that go along with it!

Dylan Marquette

Groomsman

Dylan and Kyle have known each other since elementary school. They went to a few high school sporting events, bonfires, and made fun of each other at lunch. Dylan even visited Kyle at East Stroudsburg. Life went on and they lost touch the way people do. Then one day, while Kyle was living alone in Morgantown, he was at a WVU tailgate and heard "Hey Geimer!" To Kyle's surprise, there was Dylan, wearing a sleeveless shirt, sunglasses and sporting a backpack full of beers. When Kyle didn't know anyone, Dylan showed up. And it was like they never drifted away from their friendship! Lots of nights out, great conversations, losing bets on sports, and becoming best friends again! Fun fact, it was at his Super Bowl party that Kyle and Lize met! If you see Dylan, say hi! Make sure to ask him how he called Kyle on a Sunday and asked him to officiate his wedding on that SAME Friday!

Hannah Frazier

Bridesmaid

Hannah and Lize met at WVU on the rowing team. Maddie and Hannah were really good friends and slowly becoming friends with Lize. Initially, Hannah can have a mean streak or just needs a Dr. Pepper to start her day, but soon Lize realizes that Hannah is a true softy and they became best friends. Lize and Hannah were lifting partners during strength training. Just as much as lifting can be challenging, so can life. Lize and Hannah would push each other in weight room and also give each other guidance in life. There were times we would rush to finish our lifting session (Sorry Coach) to hurry up and go pet some cows. Hannah provides so much joy in my life. Whether or not we caught up yesterday or 3 months ago, we catch up as if nothing has changed. Okay confession, no one calls her Hannah. Everyone on the rowing team called her Simm, or Simmerly (her maiden name). So if you come up to me and say, "Oh Hannah... blah blah blah" I won't know who you are talking about. So, if you see Simm say Hi! And congratulate her on her recent Wedding in Georgia! Ask her about the one summer we both stayed in Morgantown and would workout together. We would get 5 minutes into a VERY light jog and decided we could go to the pool instead. That's still a workout right?

Kelvin Morris

Groomsman

Brother to the bride. Had to have him in my groomsman party. We aren't even that close really. Kidding! Kelvin has the ever important job that I cherish the same as him, being a big brother. From the start, I could see how much he loves Lize and it was ever more clear in the way that he embraced me. Kelvin has been a great friend, role model, golf buddy, and chef instructor! I am so fortunate that choosing Lize forever means that I also am choosing her family. Kelvin and Kyle have already made tons of memories and I can't wait to make a lifetime more! If you see Kelvin, say hi! Congratulate him and his wife Marissa on their new baby boy James! Also, ask him about the time he exhibited the most patience I've ever seen in a human when he tried to teach me how to ski!

Julia Geimer

Bridesmaid

Julia is the sister of the Groom. Julia is the better Geimer. I have never had someone have my back as much as Jules. She is always supporting me and telling Kyle to keep himself in line. Julia is so easy to talk to and would do ANYTHING for the people she loves. I am so honored to have another sister. Another sister that I can vent to, another sister that will always be there for me, another sister that we can just hangout and don't have to say anything, another sister where life is easy when you are around. Even though Julia already feels like family, I cannot wait for it to be official! If you see Julia, say Hi! Congratulate her on 10 year anniversary with Mason! Ask her about all the "beautiful" pictures she has of Kyle!
