Welcome to our beginning...

It all began at a Super Bowl party in 2022 — a night that was supposed to be about touchdowns and winning bets. Kyle, ever the passionate sports fan, was beside himself that someone wasn't watching the game. That someone was Lize. Instead of watching football (or at least pretending to), she was mingling, more interested in the commercials — and, unknowingly, about to change Kyle’s life. That moment sparked something, and soon after, they went on their first date. Both a little nervous (and come to find out later, both relying on a couple shots for courage), they ended up talking for four hours straight — laughing, connecting, and realizing they had more in common than they ever thought possible. Over four years, they’ve built a life filled with joy, curiosity, and lots of stamps in their passports. Whether exploring new countries or cozying up at home with their beloved dog, Lucy, they’ve created something truly special — a relationship admired by everyone lucky enough to know them. In December of 2024, surrounded by twinkling lights and sub-zero temperatures at Longwood Gardens, Kyle got down on one very cold knee and asked Lize to marry him. (She said yes before he could finish asking.) Now, with a new home and a future they’re ready to begin, they can’t wait to start the next chapter — together.
