2:00 pm - 2:30 pm
This the time guests NEED to be at the venue by. A few minutes after is not an issue, but the ceremony commences AT 3 PM. To stay on schedule for pictures after the ceremony and for the reception, we don't need anyone walking into the ceremony area right at or just before 3!
3:00 pm - 3:45 pm
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Because there will be soft grass and gravel, heels are not recommended. Also, NO JEANS. We don't care if they're Levis paired with a button-up shirt, they do not fit in the category of 'semi-formal' for our wedding.
No phones during the ceremony! All guests' phones must be put away and silenced for the entirety of the ceremony, or you will be publicly scolded! We will have a photographer, videographer, and designated phone-use people. So, just sit, relax, and soak up the joy and beauty of the moment with us!
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The hour or so after the ceremony will be for the bride and groom, bridal party, and immediate/close family members to do wedding photos. The open bar should be up and running for people to go grab a drink and chat and mingle with other guests until the reception begins.
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Your chairs from the ceremony will be your chairs for the reception. So, make sure you can carry your chair or have someone carry it for you down to the reception area in the barn. We will eat, drink, take photos, make memories, and shake our booties! Also, to make sure we can tidy up in time afterwards, all guests intending to stay for the entirety of the wedding events will need to depart by 10 PM.
