A mutual friend introduced Jackie and Kyle at Crystal Springs Rodeo in June of 2017. They instantly connected over their love for the cattle industry and research, and found out that they were both attending SDSU for Animal Science. It wasn’t long after that when they reconnected and hit it off over karaoke at the local bowling alley that November. Things quickly became official and their long distance relationship started. After 2.5 years, Kyle moved to Brookings and the pair were finally able to enjoy being as close in distance as they were in heart. They have enjoyed some of life's best moments thus far, and have grown closer together and continued to love each other through the hardest. In October 2022, Kyle, Jackie, and their dogs Freya and Ralph, moved to Aurora, SD. Their shared love of projects has helped make their quaint house into a cozy home. Jackie will dream up the ideas and Kyle finds a practical way to bring them to life. Together, the two enjoy gardening, camping, trips to the lake, rodeos, and country concerts. They are beyond excited to (finally 😉) get married, and are so appreciative of the countless family and friends that have supported their love story over the years!
