Maid of Honor
I have known Sara since I was perhaps 7 or 8 years old, but it wasn't until I started college that our friendship really took off. Sara is one of the coolest people I know. She is a creative force full of adventure and brimming with ideas to share. After all, it was her and Jo that conspired with Kyle to surprise me with his proposal, and hide in the bushes to watch it. I'm so happy to have her on board as one half of the maid of honor duo. If Sara's around, things can't not be fun. -A.
Maid of Honor
A fun fact about Jo and Sara: I met both of them long before they met each other in college. Jo and I were part of a community church orchestra for years. She was among the first people to welcome me to college, and our friendship just grew from there. We've seen each other through relationships, gap years, camping trips, and our gradual transition into full-time adults. I'm so lucky to have a friend like her be able to stand next to me, support and celebrate with me on the big day. -A.

I met Chelsea back in 1999 when she was 2 minutes old. We have been through it all together: homeschooling, road trips to Mexico, music lessons, adolescence, and even overlapping engagements. Her candid humor and exuberant personality can bring joy to anyone she meets. We are stoked for her to join our bridal party. Chelsea lives in Vancouver with her fiancé and their energetic aussie-poodle named Goose. -A

Dr. Siena Mirasol (as of last June!) was my college roommate and musical collaborator for 3 years at Walla Walla U. The two of us can go on for hours talking about our favorite piano concertos (hers is Rachmaninov 1, mine is Schumann's in A minor), and trying to out-pun each other. Fun fact about Siena: she played the triangle at Carnegie Hall. -A.
Bridesmaid
Briana and I first met in the summer of 2018 working at Sunset Lake Camp. Briana is a girl's girl who has been there for me, especially when we all were navigating the uncertainties of COVID shutdowns. She's also softened me towards the girly pop music of Taylor Swift. I'm so delighted to have both her and John in our wedding party to celebrate our special day with us. The photogenic couple live in Riverside with their sadistic, scratchy cat named Ube. -A
Bridesmaid
Rachel is a certified Cool Girl from Southern California. She first came into our lives at the tail end of undergrad. The three of us bonded over tater tots and our shared experiences working as student missionaries abroad (her in the South Pacific, Kyle in Europe, and Annie in Central America). Rachel brings the energy, hype, and adventure to any gathering. We are excited to have her on board to celebrate with us. -A
Best Man
Carstan keeps finding himself in type II fun with me and that's been fantastic for our friendship. He's never been accused of keeping his cards close to his chest and that transparency has made for endless, incredible conversation. And since he is always down for any adventure of any kind, we have flexed that transparency into an iron-clad friendship. He's been honest from the beginning, friend to both of us and one our strongest supporters. So yeah, best homie. -K
Groomsman
My brother. Ok there's much more to it than that. Kendle currently lives in small town Montana with his dog, Ranger and wife, Rachel. We may have fought for many years (like literally, with swords) and he could definitely dish it all back and more if he wanted to but he's got my back. Kendle keeps me humble but also encourages and we have literally climbed mountains together making him a 10/10 brother an obvious groomsman. -K
Groomsman
The best thing to ever happen to my friendship with Nathan was going in on a wood shop together in our garage in College Place. We honestly didn't make a lot in there but the vibes were immaculate. Carstan often crashed the shop and we three dreamed and schemed. The conversations and jokes carried on through working at Sunset Lake Camp, climbing trips, evening trail runs and crashing Nathan's house in Bend. As a certified homie, wilderness first responder, and body double to Kyle Lambert, I'm keeping him up front. -K
Groomsman
Mark Abrio is the proud father of a rag doll cat named Bear, a two time boarding school dean, one half of the United Hairlines bowling team, AND a certified goofball. He's always down to clown and that has lead to an entire of sitcom of stories Kyle and Annie would never miss. In 2015, Mark crossed the entirety of Sittner Hall to share his girl troubles with resident assistant Kyle at Walla Walla University and that exchange soon turned mutual. Mark has been there from the start and had a front row seat to our story so we've decided to keep him around. -K
Groomsman
John and I met at Sunset Lake Camp (notice the theme yet?). We especially bonded over the summer of 2020 through too much Risk (never enough) and a certain trip to Half Cabin. What I love about John is the dichotomy of man he represents in my life. On the one hand, John has been tremendous support over the past few years, especially his joint investment in a little board game called SmashUp with Mark and I. He is also down to clown. On the other hand, he will dive as deep as you wish to go in rich philosophical and theological conversations. Many coffee dates and board game night later, I am so glad to have him up front. -K
Groomsman
Bryan is a smooth feller, a real good dancer (like really really), and always the life of the party. We spent a semester in Svalbard studying, hiking, having the realest conversations and thank goodness we got in on the same research expedition. Bryan is 80% jokes, 20% deep but that deep is real deep. He will snuggle right in at the bottom of your heart and you'll have a good friend for life. -K
Flower Girl
Technically, I met Freja when she was still a bun in the oven. It's been a joy to be a part of her little life and watch her grow up in the collective, surrounded by so many people that love her. We hoped that all the stars align for her to make it to our wedding, but if they don't, she'll still be an honorary flower girl for us. -A
