Sunset Lake Camp and the surrounding area has an abundance of trails and drives to explore the nature. Stay tuned for detailed recommendations as we get closer to the wedding!

This time of year, Paradise and anything on the route is all that’s open. From Sunset Lake Camp, expect a 2-2.5 hr drive. The road is generally open to Longmire. Weather permitting, you’ll find views of Mount Rainier and waterfalls along the way. Check the night before and morning of for road closures from Longmire to Paradise if you want to go the whole way up (note gate closure times).

The best coffee you’ll find in the area. ~30 minutes drive from Sunset Lake Camp. The downtown strip is a nice walk too!

Electric Coffee House

Explore around camp! There are loads of trails, none too long. Our favorites are the Tower and River trails.
