All the beautiful things that she is she instills in me every day, and I wouldn’t be half the man I am today without her. Jaime is the most selfless person I know. She is well-cultured, a lover of all experiences and places unknown, and a hater of leftovers. She is family and friends first, and a (soon to be) anesthesiologist second. She is a source of strength and light in my life, and spending it with her is the greatest blessing I could ask for.
Kyle McGrath

- As written by the bride- World's worst driver, second only to my dad. Most likely to ask you for a plan. Can be calmed (or bribed) with a bowl of ice cream. He's got some of the wildest college stories thanks to the men standing up with him, but don't be fooled; he's the most genuine, thoughtful, and dedicated person I've ever known. Kyle is a man of few words but he carries himself with such a gentle strength. He’s a man that shares what I love and celebrates my dreams and most importantly my people as he celebrates his own. Where work/education has torn me down, Kyle’s been there to not only patch me back up, but share the joy in my successes. Marrying the man that Kyle is will be one of my greatest accomplishments; marrying my best friend will be the easiest thing I’ve ever done.
Kara Sophie

Big sister to the bride. Provider of the bride's first hair straightener and unlimited closet access in high school (unwillingly to both). Master boss bitch in the business world, and will probably end up running a practice for Kyle and Jaime one day so she can write her own paychecks. She's a new momma to the flower girl and the master planner behind a large majority of this wedding. She'll challenge you to a bake off anytime, and is a huge sucker for a good appetizer, spa time, and cute etsy shit. Decorates for holidays 3 months ahead of time, insists on tradition, and is literally incapable of half-assing anything. Greatest gift giver of all time. Jaime's big sister, and now a dear friend.
Beau Brown
Best Man
Certified horse boy, gambling enthusiast, and life-long best friend of the groom. Beau and Kyle first met in 5th grade at East Elementary School in their hometown and have had an unspoken bond that has only grown stronger over the years. Beau is a sensitive family man that has always been a brother to Kyle, giving him much needed reminders to never take life too seriously. Beau tried his hand at computer programming for a short time in college but found his way back to his family’s horse training business and has seen great success ever since. Beau and his parents have agreed to give Kyle and Jaime a horse as a wedding gift.
Tessa Mulvaney

Tessa and Jaime met on the first official night of college at Iowa State University. The kind of friends that lead very different lives but formed the strongest friendship, they have remained best friends through medical school, babies, and big life changes. You can count on Tessa to be prepared for the rest of the bridal crew, and odds are, she's largely responsible for making the wedding day go as smoothly as possible. She's mama to the ring bearer, Nolan, and just had her second son, Cal, in July 2021 with her husband Matt. Back when Jaime stood in Tessa & Matt's wedding, Jaime got the priest to dance with her to Love Shack while Kyle performed his signature dance moves. Guess it's time to return the favor on the dance floor!
Anthony Melaragno

The only Italian with a dairy allergy in existence. Bone wizard (orthopedic surgeon) in the making. Amateur Sommelier; once drank 3 bottles of wine in a sitting because “Italians can’t get drunk on wine.” Tony and Kyle first met at OSU. At first, he didn’t care to befriend Kyle because he thought Kyle was obnoxious and partied too much (go figure). They crossed paths again at the start of medical school and immediately hit it off. Tony is an extremely genuine and happy man, with a smile so big that his eyes disappear. He has had a knack for keeping Kyle grounded during challenging and volatile times, and his friendship has been vital in helping Kyle develop a more well-rounded perspective. Kyle and Jaime cherish Tony’s friendship and so look forward to seeing where life takes him.
Hailey Nelson

One of Jaime’s oldest friends and fellow horse girl. Hailey and Jaime met through competing in horse shows as kids and have stayed close ever since. Jaime has often been mistaken for being a fourth sister in Hails’ family; let’s just say we ain’t mad about that compliment 😉. Hailey went to college at the University of Illinois while Jaime was at Iowa State, but time and distance changed nothing about their friendship. Shes always been a phone call away and had the right words to share for every time the bride has called on her. She’s is a physicist and engineer by trade, but don’t let that fool you. She’s bound to be the wildest on the dance floor and can handle her whiskey dangerously well. Find Hailey for a fantastic time and a generous friendship, always.
Evan Logsdon

Self-made software engineer meets "Into the Wild". The Big Aristotle. Life-long friend of the groom. Evan is a simple man who is curious, thoughtful, and nomadic —he recently moved out West for a little more oxygen. Evan and Kyle met in elementary school in Upper Sandusky, and their friendship became much closer during college when they began sharing life changing experiences together – from nearly failing a class together and realizing it was time to get serious about the future, to taking philosophy classes together and spending hours discussing how they think about the world. Some of Kyle’s most transformational years were a direct product of his friendship with Evan. Find Evan either lost in his computer or lost in the woods, there is no in-between.
Colleen Ballard

Pint sized but she packs a punch. Colleen is Jaime’s oldest and longest friend; they met in French class (which one of us do you think stuck that out 🙃) at Plum Grove Junior High, and ran a killer 4x100 relay back in their prime. Colleen is a Miami of Ohio grad and she *actually* lives, works, and breathes in downtown Chicago, and has become a city girl through and through. She’s traveled the world, ran record making marathons, and just had her first baby, Jack, with her husband Miles in 2021. Back when Jaime stood in Colleen’s wedding, Colleen threw her bouquet into the chandelier (breaking it) before it landed at Jaime’s feet. Guess that *next bride luck* thing finally worked out, hope nothing is broken in April!
Joe Reile

Wild child, Burnetts enthusiast, Farmer. Joe and Kyle went to high school together and became close friends in college. The groom’s college days, studded with his greatest memories are thanks, in large part, to Joe’s unpredictably outrageous sense of humor. Joe is remarkably intelligent and creative with strong values underneath all the shenanigans. Him and Kyle are an example of how it does not take a lifetime to build a life-long friendship. Joe and his wife Shannon are always down for a great time and Kyle and Jaime cannot wait to celebrate with them.
Nikki Wagner
Bridesmaid
Dog enthusiast. Master organizer. Sucker for a good bubble bath. Most likely to be cooing over the flower girl (honestly, who won’t be). Nikki and Jaime met on day 0 of med school and she’s single handedly responsible for the bride’s success, simply by reminding her of due dates... and to show up to class. Once, she even influenced the bride to attempt a budget (trying counts). Neonatologist-to-be and young badass in the making, she smiles bright and has often been the SOS call Jaime needed over the last five years. Everything she does is pink, genuine, and for smidgen-sized humans. She’s the Arizona Robbins we all needed. She’s the loyal friend you pray for. She’s one of the brides most cherished friends and the grooms favorite third wheel.
Austen Smith

Great hair, health nut, genius (although he plays it off). Austen and Kyle met in the chemistry lab they both worked in during college. Their friendship quickly blossomed as they shared a love for medicine, bench pressing, and the strength of the G&Ts at Union Café. Austen started medical school a few years prior to Kyle, and has been a close friend and mentor throughout their journey. Austen was instrumental in Kyle choosing the school that he did, and without Austen’s influence Kyle and Jaime would have never crossed paths. Austen is a simple man on a mission to help others live well. Find him at the bar knee deep in gin striking up a deep conversation with the father of the bride. Kyle and Jaime are grateful for his influence past and present, and are so excited to have him here today.

Her middle name is tequila. She’s always wearing a ballsy pair of stilettos to disguise her 5’2 stature. She only eats her moms beef meatballs, refusing to try the grooms turkey meatball recipe. She’s got 5 siblings (looks like a better version of the Kardashians) and she owns 10,000 pairs of pants. She could probably earn a living in a modeling career but packs a bigger punch with brain power. She’s a fellow med school grad and met the bride over their first cadaver in anatomy (thanks James). Her specialty of choice will one day shield the bride from bad pores, wrinkles, and sun spots; we thank her in advance for her free samples 😏. She’s spicy, she’s authentic, she’s been nothing but the best of friends to the bride. Be on the lookout for this girl’s dance moves!
Gyen Musgrave

(Pronounced “Guy”-“en”) Has thighs so muscular he has to custom order stretch jeans. Gyen may have a buzzcut, a ponytail, a mustache, or a full beard on April 23rd, it seems to change by the month. Rough around the edges if you don’t know him, big softie if you do. The best complement Kyle has ever received is when someone mistakes him for Gyen-- let the record show this has happened at least twice. Kyle met Gyen in elementary school, and ever since they’ve developed a brotherly friendship that has stood the test of time and distance. The wedding day would absolutely not be the same without him. Gyen is a pharmacist professionally but is an avid gym rat who dabbles in Jiu-Jitsu. Gyen special requested a protein shake for the reception dinner.
Julie Maxey

Known for her laid back ways and quiet brilliance, Jules is another wild child on the bride’s side. The only girl in a family with three brothers, Juju is athletic, resilient, and not often beat...at anything but shotgunning a beer (she tries, that counts right?). Jules and Jaime met in medical school and spent many nights studying for exams, laughing more than being productive. She also roots for the worst team in football history, in direct opposition to the bride (horrible, really.) She’s been a steadfast friendship for both Kyle and Jaime and who are so excited to see where her knife skills and tenacity take her. Contact Julie for all of your surgical, Jell-O shot, or shotgunning needs. She’ll respond promptly and with great enthusiasm.
Daniel Newell

Free spirit. Work horse. Known for taking one for the team (literally) and being a family guy first, which has always included many of the men standing in the wedding party. One of the most honest and genuine guys Kyle has ever known. He’s a guy that shows up for his people. Daniel and Kyle became friends in high school and were roommates throughout college at Ohio State. He’s an extremely hard-working guy who’s never afraid to get his hands dirty. Kyle has always appreciated Daniel’s free-spirited ability to follow his heart no matter where it takes him. Most recently, he has returned home following some gallivanting out west in the open spaces of Montana. Find Daniel plowing his family’s field (by hand) or shredding gnar on a double black diamond somewhere other than Ohio.
Hayley Eichenlaub

Hayley is a med school heart throb, a red wine advocate, an appetizer enthusiast, pug lover, and fellow Avengers fan. She's been vital to the bride's sanity throughout grad school as they've often relied upon one another to get through the tougher years. She's got a cynical sense of humor and hair so good it’s gotta have secrets in it. When the bride needs champagne and a spa day, she knows exactly who to call. She’s a bad ass blonde that makes Emergencies look easy, and takes generosity to the next level. Hayley and her husband Steve are friends that Kyle and Jaime are so very thankful for.
Brent Whitehead

Maniac athlete. Testosterone. Mildly psychopathic. Last year Brent did 100 burpees for 365 days straight…for fun...and has done an iron man “on accident”. Brent and Kyle met in medical school and easily bonded over their love and dedication to working hard and playing harder. In fact, Kyle can attribute much of the resilience he built over the last four years to their friendship. During some of the most grueling days, he could always count on Brent to get him to the gym by 5AM, a practice that for both of them has now evolved to 3AM (again, psychopathic). Brent is an aspiring orthopedic surgeon, and married the love of his life, Abbey, in June of 2021. On April 23rd, find Brent completing a round of golf before 7AM or doing flash cards on his Peloton after the reception.
Katelyn Barth

Little sister to the groom and now to the bride! She keeps them on their toes and gives them a reason to return to Columbus when they can. Katelyn is wise beyond her years, and whether she knows it or not, she motivates Kyle and Jaime to stay true to what matters most in life. Katelyn is a mature soul with a wild heart and a free spirit; catch her changing her corner of the world when she graduates from Ohio State in 2022. We love her, and are so happy she's standing with us today!
Rob Balsiger
Groomsman
Living encyclopedia. Life of the party whether you like it or not. Rob and Kyle first met in medical school when Kyle was captivated by his story-telling capabilities (ask him about meeting Migos’ cousin). Rob is a future professional ear wax remover (otolaryngologist), but don’t let the fancy title dissuade you from his ability to throw down a witty rap lyric in response to literally anything. Rob is and always will be one of Kyle’s go-to sources of entertainment, insight, and advice. The better you get to know Rob, that harder it becomes to discern whether he’s extremely well informed on everything or if he’s just very good at acting like it; both extremely valuable character traits. Find Rob stealing the aux cord from the DJ and playing Young Thug.
Nolan Mulvaney
Ring Bearer
Son of bridesmaid and best friend, Tessa Mulvaney. Answers to "Nono" and is a ruthless ball of energy. He's the little guy that first made Jaime an aunt. He's turning 5 years old near the wedding day and is VERY excited to carry the precious cargo down the aisle. He’ll sprint laps around the ceremony and likely keep things lively. We can't wait to put the little guy to work! 🥰
Madelyn Rae Sophie
Flower Girl
Technically met the bride before she met her own parents (Jaime helped deliver 😏). Niece to the bride and groom. Answers mostly to "Rae," "smidgen," and "mini-ganoosh," as the bride refuses to acknowledge her first name (and everyone else follows suit). She just turned two years old and takes her petal spreading very seriously, technique!! It's a coin toss how fast she'll make it down the aisle, whether she’ll sing and squat dance or scream and demand to be held by her favorite crowd members through the ceremony. Either way, it'll be cute!! And that's all that matters. 🥰
