Our love story started when Staci reluctantly agreed to meet up with her best friends Kyle and Liz at Unsung Brewery in Anaheim, CA, instead of staying in her PJs. Kurt and his best friend Zack wandered into the courtyard and noticed Staci drinking a mysteriously orange drink, known as “Mr. Schmellow” - naturally, they had questions. Our conversation led to lots of laughs, and the hours flew by way too fast. By the end of the night, we were already a “we” - we just didn’t know it yet! After almost 2 months of texting, we intended to meet up as "just friends" - until it was very obvious we were not just friends. We had our first kiss and the sparks flew instantly! However, a last-minute change of plans led us to a tiny apartment park that (unbeknownst to Kurt) was right outside of Liz and Kyle's window - you know, just in case the date took a wrong turn. Luckily, it didn't! Instead, our date led us to happily ever after!
