It's a mountain bike mecca! Fernie Alpine Resort offers downhill biking or there are many miles of single track trails to explore for all abilities. You can bring your own bike or rent one from Gearhub or Ski Base.
Fernie is nestled in the Rocky Mountains, where breathtaking views and stunning blue waters await. Find a perfect hike for you and all your friends. Looking for a short option? Fairy Creek Falls is a lovely 3-mile hike to a waterfall. You can also hike right from the base of the Resort. All Trails is a great app to download for trail recommendations! Fernie Ridge is on our list :)

Want to spend the day out on the water? There are so many options! Rafting, kayaking, paddleboarding - you name it. You can rent the gear or rent a guide - the options are endless. The Elk River runs right through town - perhaps a floatzilla?
While we aren’t golfers ourselves, there is a spot for our golf-lover guests! The Fernie Golf Club is surrounded by rugged mountains and lush forests. Check out their website for more information!
