Things To Do

We'll be in the Sawyer Yards area on 10.11.25 and recommend a lot of neat things around us, but wanted to share a few other recommendations just in case you'd like to explore

Houston Guide (updated by KB)

Here are a few fun recommendations (coffee shops, parks, art!) to make the most of your time in Houston, especially if you're making your visit here an "extended" vacation.

Sawyer Yards

2101 Winter Street, Houston, TX 77007

We'll be here the whole day on 10.11.25 - there is so much to do! Have a blast exploring art galleries, take a gym class, enjoy the ice house or brewery, or hang out with us (see "Schedule" for more information)

Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

4501 Woodway Drive, Houston, TX 77024

This is the location where we got engaged + married -- if the weather cooperates and you have littles, they have a great playground too. We love it!

Meow Wolf Houston's Radio Tave

2103 Lyons Avenue, Houston, TX 77020

If the weather isn't wonderful for the Arboretum but you're interested in a unique experience, we think this immersive and interactive art experience is really neat! We recommend booking a time to go early for minimal crowds.

POST Market (Food Hall)

401 Franklin Street, Houston, TX 77002

If you're wanting to try some great food (we love Chop n Blok!) and see the downtown skyline, POST (a former post office) is a really neat space.

For all the days along the way
