Our goal is to incorporate both aspects of our personality into our reception; some extroverted activities/dancing, some introverted options (let Dan know if you're interested the board games beforehand!), with a priority on good vibes. 10/10 - casual-wear, be comfortable - henna will be offered here! 10/11/2025 - (main event) formal Indian-inspired (colorful!) attire - comfortable shoes for dancing!
Yes! We plan to have an open bar and plenty of "food stations" at our reception, with lots of pescatarian and vegan options as well. Welcome Party (Heights Bier Garten) is cash bar with great food options.
Due to headcount restrictions, the events are adult-only, except on a case by case basis (note: HBG is kid-friendly until sunset). Though we'll miss seeing your kids, Houston is very kid-friendly (ex: NASA, Children's Museum, Houston Zoo/Museum of Natural Science etc.); reach out to KB and she can connect you with potential babysitters and childcare support!
Fostering dogs has been a meaningful part of our life together, and it's even inspired Kurchi to start Pawsitive Moments, a small business that helps bring couples' dogs to their weddings while supporting rescue efforts like Rescued Pets Movement (RPM).
