We're throwing a Happily-Ever-"After-Party"!

"Do you realize that in the entire history of western civilization, no one has successfully accomplished the roommate switch?" Well, it wasn't quite like Seinfeld, but Kurchi is living proof that it can been done. In late August of 2013, after a few dates with Jason from OkCupid, Kurchi swung by his apartment to watch SNL, upon when she met his surprisingly cute roommate (friend from HS) Dan. She quickly devised a plan to get everyone to an Astros game the next day and to New Orleans for Labor Day weekend (we also met Dan's extended family in Destrehan!). After about a month of hanging out, Dan asked Kurchi to be his girlfriend on October 6th 2013, and the rest is history.

After much deliberation, Dan popped the question in February 2020—just in time for the world to shut down. Instead of waiting in uncertainty, we embraced the moment and had an intimate COVID wedding at the Houston Arboretum with fewer than 30 guests, masks, and a Zoom livestream.

Five years of blissful marriage—but something’s been missing… all of YOU! Now, five years later, we’re ready for the celebration we always wanted! 10.11.2025 feels like the perfect day for our Happily Ever After Party—this party is our chance to gather our favorite people and finally have the celebration we never got - and we’d love for you to be there! We know travel isn’t always easy, but it would mean the world to us if you can join in the fun.
