Things To Do

Vagator Beach

GA 403519, India

While it's not exactly deserted, Vagator makes for a pleasant beach to spend an afternoon (or even a few days). Umbrellas and loungers line the shore and restaurant staff will bring food and drink directly to you if you want. Other tourists come here too, but it's not a wild party beach. Nearby you can do a bit of sightseeing at Chapora Fort.

Sunburn Music Festival

Goa, India

Electronic music parties/events/festivals are not new to Goa and much earlier pioneers of free party's/events/festivals with live DJs mixing, art, crafts and food stalls started in the late 1980s and continued through all of the 1990s into the early 2000s where they played Goa trance, Psychedelic trance, and Techno and were held at Vagator Beach, Anjuna beach and Arambol beach. The arrival of commercialized events such as Sunburn arrived in Goa when mainstream electronic dance music gained more widespread popularity within India

Dudhsagar Falls

Sonaulim, GA 403410, India

What is it? Dudhsagar, which literally translates to "sea of milk", is Goa’s tallest waterfall with a height of 310 meters. The three-streamed, four-tiered natural marvel is tucked deep within the Western Ghat Mountains, not too far from the state’s border with neighbouring Karnataka. Why go? Dudhsagar stands amidst dense forests that are rich with rare flora and fauna and makes for one of South India’s most popular treks for intermediate to advanced level trekkers. You can also choose to skip the trek and visit the area by car for a dose of Goan topography beyond palm tree-lined beaches.

Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary

GA 403410, India

Yes, Goa has wildlife much more exciting than its nightlife! The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park have animals like the panther, sloth bear, mouse deer and even barking deer. Then there are 200 species of birds including the Indian great black woodpecker, Malabar pied hornbill, paradise flycatcher, fairy bluebird, emerald dove and kingfisher. This peaceful sanctuary in the foothills of the Western Ghats (known as Sahyadri in Konkani) can be visited from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on all days

Yoga Retreat

After a day of exploring and many nights of partying, when you feel like relaxing and pampering yourself, it’s then that you can check out the yoga retreats in Goa and the splendor and charm of these places and the activities will definitely attract you.

Dolphin Dive

Take a dolphin cruise in Goa in the afternoon. The dolphins are a way better sight in reality than on Animal Planet! A dolphin cruise in Goa is therefore exciting for the old and the young alike. Dolphins pepping out of the sea around your boat in a graceful motion is best savoured by eye and saved on camera. The dolphin cruise trip is flanked with a day-long tour of Grand Island, ideal for a peaceful picnic.

Anjuna Flea Market

Anjuna, GA 403509, India

It’s a paradise for thrift shopping, and arguably Goa’s best flea market. It’s also one of its most scenic, with pop-up stores taking up a considerable stretch of the beach. The market is understandably closed temporarily during the pandemic but expects to return to colourful form in the near future.

Arpora Saturday Night Bazaar

Arpora, GA 403519, India

Most of Goa’s finest boutique designers, restaurants and bars bring their best to you here, letting you sample a whole range of essential Goan experiences in a single night. Make sure to browse handcrafted jewellery at the Cocoroots and Cheshire Cat kiosks, stop for shawarma from Thalassa or for falafel from Janet & Johns, and wrap your evening at Boutique House Bar located within the market.
