Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. But if not, as much as we would love to accommodate as many people as possible, we would prefer it if it was just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are certainly welcome at the resort, children of all ages may attend the Sangeet on Friday and the wedding ceremony on Saturday. As far as the reception is concerned please refer to your invite. Sitting services are available however. While in residence, please contact a Resort Experience Planner at 949.234.3900 for further details.

Are there other hotels we can stay at besides Monarch Beach Resort?

Answer

We'd LOVE to have everyone stay at Monarch so we can spend as much time with all our friends and family as possible but if it's not for you, we totally understand. There are plenty of other amazing hotels in Dana Point and the surrounding area that are a short driving distance away - Laguna Hills Marriott Resort & Spa, The Beachfront Inn & Suites, Dana Point Marina Inn, Blue Lantern Inn, Riviera Beach Resort, Capri Laguna and a few different Best Westerns. If you're looking for something just as luxurious but not quite at the center of everything there is also the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

Are there other lodging options besides hotels in Dana Point?

Answer

Yes, check out Airbnb and VRBO for some great short-term rental options in both Dana Point and Laguna Beach. Be sure to read reviews and double check their cancellation policies before booking.

What kind of performances are at a Sangeet?

Answer

Anything we want! Normally a lot of performances at a Sangeet revolve around dancing, singing or playing a musical instrument but if you have any other special talents that you’d like to showcase, we’d be open to including it. Skits, magic, comedy, you name it.

I am interested in performing at the Sangeet, how can I do that?

Answer

What kind of gift should you give at an Indian wedding?

Answer

While you certainly don't need to get us a gift, we have a whole registry dedicated to just that if you are so inclined. One thing worth noting, in Indian culture we never give a gift ending in 0. Whatever one chooses to give, the amount usually end with a “1” such as $51 or $101. Thank you!
