Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, please note that we'll be keeping our wedding an adult-only event (18+), with the exception of immediate family who are part of the wedding party.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to capacity restrictions we cannot allow any guests other than those explicitly listed on the wedding invitation.

Is there transportation to & from the wedding?
Answer
Yes! there will be a shuttle for guests staying at the Wilderness (Stone Hill Lodge, River Lodge, Villas & Cabins). Where the shuttle picks up will be sent out prior to the wedding weekend via text notification. Transportation will also be provided following the after party, if you are staying at the Wilderness. Please note, if you choose to make different accommodations other than The Wilderness, or you miss one of the shuttles to or from the venue, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the wedding & the after party

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! There is parking. Parking will be outside the reception venue, which is the Glass House. There will be mini shuttles to take you to & from the ceremony site, which is the Garden. You can choose to walk as well, the walk is about 7-8 minutes, slightly uphill. If you are driving, please account for the time it will take to park and get up to the ceremony location.

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

We ask that you kindly reframe from using your phone during the short ceremony. Casey found the absolute best photographer and guarantees she will get all the best photos! There will be plenty of opportunities to capture a photo for your Instagram story during the reception.

What time does the ceremony start/what time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4 p.m. Please arrive by 3:30 p.m.

What time does the reception end? Is there an after party?
Answer
Reception ends at 10 p.m. As for an after party, yes! Casey & Evan have rented out “The Peak” bar at The Wilderness from 10:30 p.m to 12:30 p.m. This is attached to the River Lodge section at the resort and across the street from the Stone Hill Lodge rooms. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the after party.

Dietary restrictions?
Answer
There will be options for those who are vegan, celiac (gluten-free) & have a fish allergy. If you have other restrictions, please reach out to Casey at least 2 months before the wedding to see what arrangements can be made with the caterer. This is not a guarantee but the bride & groom will do their best to accommodate everyone!

April Weather in East TN/Rain Plan?
Answer
A typical day in late April for East Tennessee ranges (avg.) between 65-75 degrees. There is a rain plan! Both ceremony & reception will take place inside the Glass House, cocktail hour will take place outside under a covered tent.

What should I do if I see a bear?
Answer
Well, you definitely do not want to pet it. While they look fluffy and friendly they are not. I would say go hide in the glass house.

Is there an open bar?
Answer
Yes! Liquor, wine, beer & champagne will be served. Make sure to try both the Bride & Groom's signature cocktails!

Are you okay if we Irish Goodbye?
Answer
Yes please do! If Casey & Evan are on the dance floor, please feel free to exit without saying goodbye but do not pull them off of it! We adore & love you & know it was an amazing night! Casey & Evan will have something TBD in the morning for those who want to say a formal goodbye before returning home!
