Cara's Parents
Mary and Tim's constant love, unwavering support, and the joyful home they built for their family is one of the biggest blessings of Cara's life. Cara and Kristopher have been grateful to have had many wonderful conversations, meals, and adventures with Mary and Tim in Chicago and Traverse City and look forward to each Binder family hang. We thank them in particular for believing in us from day one, sharing wise marriage advice generously, and helping us put together the wedding of our dreams.
Kristopher's Parents
Kristopher is so thankful to Ken and Karen for teaching him daily about love, faith, joy, and creativity, values that he has brought into each aspect of his life. Kristopher and Cara love their time spent in with the Kopchicks, whether it's enjoying Ken's grilled breakfasts, laughing alongside Karen, or exploring a new neighborhood in Detroit or LA. We are so thankful for all the help and support they have given to make our wedding so special.
Person of Honor
John and Cara are such good friends that some have claimed they have their own language. From the days of playing two-person baseball in our childhood backyard to traveling together to Ireland and Kenya to exploring Montana with John's wife, Kelli, and kids, Ella and Jack, John has been the most consistent friend in Cara's life. Kristopher and Cara are thrilled to have him by their side at the wedding and are thankful for his true joy and support for their marriage.
Person of Honor
Kristopher is so excited to have his brother standing by his side. Kristopher admires Kory's spirit and always looked up to his younger brother. Kristopher and Cara have really enjoyed spending time with Kory and his wife, Mary in Chicago, Detroit, and LA. They've really felt and appreciated Kory and Mary's support of their relationship.
Person of Honor
Kristopher is so thankful that his sister will be by his side. Kristopher has always appreciated Kimberly's listening ear...whether that ear was in Detroit, Chicago, or LA. Kristopher is so thankful he and Cara were able to spend time over Thanksgiving with Kimberly, Brendan (her husband), and Isaac (their son). Kristopher and Cara are really thankful Kimberly, Brendan, and Isaac are moving back to Detroit and hope to have some Chicago visits soon!
Officiant
Kristopher's brother-in-law will be officiating our ceremony and we couldn't be more thrilled. As individuals and as a couple, we've both benefited from Brendan's curious nature and genuine acceptance. We are excited to have Brendan officiate as we start our marriage connecting to each other and something greater than ourselves.
