Things To Do

Rightfully named one of the most gorgeous drives in the US, this is the epitome of Pure Michigan. If you have any down time, you should put this at the top of your list. (Stops #9 and #10 are the best!)

Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive

Head to the very tip of Old Mission Peninsula for a quiet retreat. It's pretty all day long, but especially lovely at sunset.

Old Mission Lighthouse

Ice cream doesn't get more fresh. Grab an ice cream flight and sit on the deck where you can see all of the dairy cows. Thanks, cows!

Moomers Homemade Ice Cream

Three reasons to check this place out: 1.) The view of the Bay! So pretty. 2.) This place is haunted by a cool ghost that used to scare Cara when she was a little girl. 3.) The sour beers and perch are really good.

Jolly Pumpkin Restaurant & Brewery

There are TONS of amazing wineries in the area. We highly suggest you try many of them! But - this one is our favorite with gorgeous views and a really friendly staff.

Bonobo Winery

Cara and Kristopher had their first Traverse City date night at Stella's and think it's one of the best meals in town. Pro tip: ask to be seated in the arches.

Trattoria Stella

The most charming and delightful restaurant. Cozy up in an old house and enjoy their creative food.

The Cook's House

We love this place. It's a fun spot with great cocktails right on Front Street. Be sure to get a password!

Feel like a movie night or a matinee? The State and Bijou Theaters are beloved movie theaters in town that often have special events.
