Honored Maiden of Mania
Angela and I have been best friends for 23 years. No matter where I live in the world, she is my rock. We have been through early adulthood together, the birth of her children, loses and loves. She is loyal, funny, and one of the strongest people I know. She is also the person you call if you want to know what you really look like in that dress- she will tell you exactly what she thinks. I don't know what I would do without her, she is my person. Angela is also the Honored Maiden of Mania because no one overcommits like this woman can. She is the harbinger of manic energy and the inevitable heat death of the universe.
Bianca Jackson
Matron of Retaliation
Bianca and I met at work in 2018 and we instantly did NOT like each other. But one night at a party, we both had to use the bathroom and the one downstairs was full. We both agreed to a joint mission of finding another in areas of the house we were not supposed to be. Ever since then we have been the best of friends. Bianca is always down for an adventure and is one of the funniest people I know. Bianca is also one of the best people to talk to when you're having a rough time or distract you if that is what is needed. She is very insightful and honest and she will stand by you even if you're wrong. Bianca is also the Matron of Retaliation for her unyielding commitment to even the score!
Erin McCarthy
Matron of Vengence
Erin and I also met at work. I liked her immediately because we each had an embarrassing bathroom story to tell on day one and it felt natural. Erin is also someone who knows all the weird 80s and 90s movie references that I know- like the Last Unicorn- and Care Bears Movie 2 starring Dark Hart. Erin is hands down hilarious and possibly the wittiest person out there. Erin is also a very good friend, she will stop what she is doing to help you out any time. Erin is also the Matron of Vengence because as the State-Wide Cold Case Prosecutor, she can hold a grudge- like a time delayed Batman of the law.
Halinka Zolcik
Matron of Chaos
Halinka and I met in law school as roommates and were immediately the best of friends. We went through some of the toughest three years together and we managed to make it one of my favorite times of my life. Halinka is one of the most giving people I know, and she is one of the most compassionate and empathetic people you will ever meet. She is also hilarious. Halinka is the Matron of Chaos because she will bring a whirlwind of activity in an orderly fashion. Watch your drink around her though, she will tidy it up and put it away while you are actively drinking from it.
Myra Daly
Matron of Raucous
I've known Myra for 40 years because she is my sissy. Myra is probably hands down the kindest person you'll ever meet. She is compassionate and strong and she knows me only the way a sister can. Myra is also a loyal person, she'll back you up whenever, no questions asked and especially if you are wrong. Myra is funny and knows how to have a good time. She is also the Matron of Raucous. The Kennedys have never been known for their quite disposition and Myra is no exception. She will liven your day and your ears with her laugh.
Oliver
Chancellor of Matrimonial Trinkets
I've known Oliver since the moment he was born and am affectionately known as Teen Teen. As the son of the Matron of Retaliation, he has the honored position of bearing the matrimonial trinkets for presentation on the aisle. I couldn't love this boy more if he was my own and I am so happy he gets to be a part of our special day!
Heather Ramsey
Princess of Pedals
Heather is the daughter of the Maiden of Mania and I enjoy the title of Auntie Kristine. Heather was just a baby when I moved in for the summer of the bar exam. She always brightened my day after an 8 hour study session. Heather is artistic and will one day out craft me. Be sure to look for her contributions to the wedding decor. I love Heather so much and am so happy she can be a part of our day!
Connor Ramsey
Cat Herder
Connor has the distinguished role of herding guests to their places on our big day. Connor is also the son of the Maiden of Mania and I am Auntie Kristine. Connor and I have always shared a special bond and affinity for whimsey and merry making. Connor is a very generous soul and has consistently allowed me to use his bedroom when I visit California (much to his cat's chagrin). I love Connor so much and am so happy he can be a part of our day!
