Hanson is about halfway between Boston and Plymouth. It's a sleepy town, but very accessible to the many quaint, seaside towns of the South Shore. Want to see cranberry bogs? Ocean? Boston? They are all nearby. For history buffs, there is so much to see and learn here.
For air transportation, flying into Logan Airport in Boston is probably your best bet, approximately 30 miles from Camp Kiwanee and will have more arrival/departure options. TF Green Airport in Warwick, RI is another option, approximately 60 miles from Camp Kiwanee, and may offer more affordable options.
When looking for a place to stay, anything along Route 3 between Boston and Plymouth will work. If searching Airbnb, try South Shore, Plymouth, Hingham, Scituate, or Braintree to name a few.
There is limited public transportation so if you are flying in, a rental car will be needed. Uber and Lyft are available, but they are not as reliable or plentiful on the South Shore.
