The Wedding Website of Kristin Falvey and Tina Johnson
Kristin and Tina's wedding is a casual event in the woods - expect karaoke, campfires with an overnight campout option! Camp Kiwanee - named after the Native American phrase "Kiwanis" believed to mean “We get together” or “We make noise” - is exactly the spirit we want at our wedding. The property is 68 acres with a history dating back to 1899! In the 1920's the lodge was built as a Camp Fire Girls camp. The location has swimming, boating, a campground, trails throughout the bogs (watch out for the bee boxes!!) and of course the event lodge - The Needles. We think this is the perfect place to celebrate with our friends and family. Come for the event, the whole day, or stay overnight with us for a cozy camp out. Everyone is welcome to join us for a Woodsy Breakfast the following morning at the Pavilion!

Wedding

Come dressed ready to celebrate - however you are comfortable. This is an inside/outside event in the woods so smart shoes are advised.

The wedding will be an inside/outside event. There is shelter for rain and space for social distancing. We are planning a casual menu that will suit wherever you decide to celebrate. Please come ready to socialize, dance, sing karaoke, play games, and roast marshmallows!

Covid Safe Event

4:30 pm

Camp Kiwanee
Hanson, MA 02341

It is very important to us to keep this event a healthy celebration. We will be monitoring Covid exposure rates and best practices for safety. At this time we request that all those who choose to attend our event have up to date vaccinations (within 6 months) or test negative the day of the event. If either of these options are not agreeable to you, please remain home and share in our event in spirit. Please continue to monitor this post for up to the minute requests for safety.

Camp Out! Bring a Tent

6:00 pm

Comfy. Ready to sleep in the woods. Weather appropriate. Bug Spray, headlamps or flashlights.

If you want to stay the night at the camp but prefer a tent, there is designated tent space at the camp area. There is electricity at the bathroom and pavilion but not at the tent area. If you keep a tent in the car, this could also be a last-minute decision so that you don't need to drive home if you're having too much fun! See photos and FAQ for more info.
