Guests of the Hilton are able to reserve Palapas, Poolapas, and Cabanas ahead of their visit starting in mid March. Guests may also be able to reserve a Palapa for the following day at around 12:30pm at the towel hut. In our experience, if you're interested in using a beach Palapa for a specific day, it's very convenient to reserve it ahead of time. A bespoke sunset adventure at the breathtaking location of your choice for an unforgettable experience in Aruba
Octopus Aruba has a number of pick up and drop off locations along the stretch of beach the Hilton is on. For smaller groups (six or less), we recommend the Donut boats where you can be your own captain and cruise up and down the coast at your leisure. See the website for all options and details.
Oak's whiskey, bourbon, scotch, tequila collections are amazing and their bartenders are highly skilled. You can bet on unbelievable cocktails, great food, and an amazing experience.
The lighthouse on the northwestern part of the island is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Aruba. Visit it from land or sea and try to time yourself a sunset. From the top of the lighthouse you have an unbelievable 360 degree view of the island.
For the late night crowd, take a walk along the beach and follow the music and you'll find your way to the Moomba Bar. Drinks, dancing, good music, and that Aruban ocean breeze. There's not a better way to cap off your night no matter where you had dinner.
Madame Janette has become one of our favorite restaurants on the island first and foremost due to their outdoor dining areas. They have quite possibly the best beer collection on the island and (as Kristen learned) one hell of a burger.
Spend one hour on the island and you'll spot the Kukoo Kunuku buses and their rowdy passengers. Drinks, music, and a tour of the island ... enough said.
Trust us and make reservations for a romantic dinner in bed. A once in a lifetime experience.
A perfect spot for a late lunch to get a small reprieve from the sun. Aruba is known for their happy hours and if you time it right you'll drink all afternoon at 2 for 1 rates. Just like every spot on this side of the island, the sunset from here is amazing. At night, they have live entertainment as well.
One popular way to see other parts of the island is to book an ATV/UTV tour. There are many companies that run these tours most of which are available right outside the hotel. Our recommendation would be to work through the Hilton hotel concierge to book your tour.
Every trip to Aruba we make it a point to have lunch at Piet's Pier in the midst of an extended beach day. Just a short walk up the beach from the hotel, time the happy hour if you can and enjoy the ceviche with an amazing view of all the hotels along the strip.
Waterslides, white sand beaches, flamingos. Everything a family could ask for in paradise. Check out the website for all booking info.
On your way out of town, give yourself plenty of time to go through Aruba and U.S. customs in the airport. This way you have time to grab a pre-flight cocktail at One Happy Bar. It is an end-of-vacation ritual for us and it should be for you as well!
