Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Aruba?

Answer

Yes, you will need your passport to clear customs in Aruba. You will also need your passport to book your flight so if you don't have a valid passport for May 2023, that is step one!

Question

What is an Aruba Online ED Card?

Answer

Aruba introduced their Online ED Card system as a way to expedite the registration of international travel into their country. All non-residents of Aruba are required to complete the Aruba Online ED and have their ED approval available to board their flight into Aruba. You will be able to apply for your Aruba Online ED card 7 days before your arrival date. You can find more information and submit the application for the Aruba ED card at: https://edcardaruba.aw/

Question

What do I do if I am having trouble booking my room at the Hilton using the link you provided?

Answer

The hotel will regularly update availability from week to week, but it is not automatic. If you are trying to book and are not able to get the exact accommodation you are seeking, you should email our reservation coordinator, Gianina Ras at Gianina.Ras@hilton.com. If you have any specific questions on accommodations, the best way to get them answered is to email Gianina. You are welcome to copy Kristen (kwalaska@gmail.com) or Chris (CSaint33@gmail.com) in your email communication if you'd like.

Question

How can I get around the island?

Answer

Aruba's taxi system is extremely dependable. Whether it's from airport to hotel, hotel to restaurant or grocery store or back, taxis are typically readily available, inexpensive, and safe. Typically Taxi fares from the Aruba Aruba to the Hilton are around $40 US dollars (Cash Only)

Question

Can I use US Dollars on the island?

Answer

Yes, US dollars are accepted across the island. No need to for any currency exchange here.

Question

Can I grocery shop on the island?

Answer

Yes, we often make our first task on the island to visit Super Food to stock up on breakfast/lunch food and drinks. https://www.superfoodaruba.com/

Question

Do I need to stay at the Hilton Aruba Resort Hotel & Casino?

Answer

Although we will be securing a discounted block of rooms compared to public pricing, you are not obligated to stay at the Hilton with us. Some other options we've enjoyed in the past are the Holiday Inn, the Hyatt, and the Marriott. All are located on the same beach strip. Most of the hotel restaurants are open to the public and of course you'll be welcome at our scheduled events, but only guests of the hotel will be able to spend time at the Hilton pool and secure reserved spots on the beach in front of the hotel. We sincerely hope that as many of you as possible will join us at the Hilton to enhance our experience beyond just the scheduled events.
