Places To Eat

Don't bother checking Yelp, this is the only respectable guide to all the best places to eat in Huntsville.

Jack Browns

Burgers and Beer

This is the bride and groom’s go-to spot in Huntsville. Where dive bar charm meets an I Spy book vibe, you can grab a craft beer and a consistently great burger anytime from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., but you’ll usually find us there on Fridays at 5:00. Pro tip: Get the Kobra Kai.

The Poppy and Parliament

Upscale British and Butchery

No one expects to stumble upon a British pub tucked into the historic downtown blocks of small-town Alabama — but you’ll be so glad you did. Come for a great cocktail, stay for the unique appetizers, and don’t skip the fish and chips or the steak. It hits every single time. Order: the frog leg appetizer, Alabama green tomatoes, Fish & Chips or the Tomahawk. If you are feeling bold try the Chargrilled Spanish octopus - it's phenomenal

One Eleven

Vibey dinner and drinks

Huntsville’s newest downtown restaurant feels like you’ve stepped into another city. The food is great — the cocktails are even better. Order a few appetizers for the table, that's what we would do!

Moes Original BBQ

Southern barbecue

If you came to the south expecting to eat bbq - go here! The meats are amazing but the sides are better. Our favorite thing to get is the pulled pork nachos and a bushwhacker, it's an alcoholic chocolate milkshake essentially, and it is amazing!

Commerce Kitchen

Southern style sit down brunch

Now this is where you go for a true Southern-style biscuit. We’re recommending it as a brunch spot, but don’t sleep on lunch or dinner — everything here is amazing! If the weather’s nice, grab a table outside. The sidewalk patio has a fun vibe and makes the whole experience even better.

Honest Coffee Roasters

Breakfast & Coffee

Just a short walk from the hotel, this is the perfect way to get a little fresh air (and steps in) on wedding morning. We eat here every Sunday before church. Krista orders the hot Bee’s Knees latte, Ryan goes for whatever seasonal drink they’re featuring, and we both get the breakfast burritos every time. You might notice a breakfast biscuit on the menu… do not get it here!! The only breakfast items we fully stand behind are the burritos and the acai bowls.

Canadian Bakin

A bagel shop which gives NY a run for their money

While the 50% of you coming from the Northeast may not believe us, this Huntsville bagel shop gives NYC a serious run for their money. We swear. The lattes are amazing — especially the bourbon vanilla. Here’s the pro order: Q-Becco — remove the cheddar, add cream cheese. For sweet: fig and honey (Krista’s favorite). For savory: chive and onion (Ryan’s favorite).
